There's something I'd like to mention, that portains to all of us who
*do* use GeoCities. 

The major complaint from people about GeoCities is the pop-up ad
windows. They're pretty annoying, I admit.

But 99 percent of you should notice that no window appears on my
page, or God-boy's page, or Flashman's page.

Why?

We bothered to install GeoGuide.

A small ad banner at the top of the page, usually linked to another
GeoCities page and cycling randomly, with a few graphic links to
other GeoCities features. No script, just images.

The problem is, a lot of people are too lazy or careless to install
the GeoGuide. It takes less than five minutes, and eliminates the
popup ad windows. 

So instead of bashing GeoCities for having the popup ads, bash the
people who don't have the GeoGuide on their pages. It's their fault.
