Also, _please_ do not place him above, say, Kunou or Akane in his 
skill level (to start, at least).  New characters who are just short of 
Ranma (or worse yet, better than he), are just begging for flames and 
delete keys.  If you want to have him improve beyond that after a while, 
that's okay, but he should really never defeat the upper echelon (Happi, 

Just out of curiosity, have you read my Gargoyles/Ranma xover?  I've been
trying not to make  my new character too powerful, and I would like your
opinion on the subject.  I've sort of tried to make a listing of characters
and their respective power levels.

Patricia with magic:
1. Ranma
2. Ryoga
3. Shampoo
4. Patricia
5. Ukyo
6. Genma
7. Mousse
8. Kodachi
9. Akane
10. Kuno

The main reason Patricia is in the top five is that as a gargoyle, she's
stronger and faster than all those below her.  Now in terms of actual
fighting skill, she'd be closer to Akane's level, but she has the
speed/strength/endurance of probably just below Ryoga.  That and the
ability to use magic puts her up there.

Patricia as a human:
1. Ranma
2. Ryoga
3. Shampoo
4. Ukyo
5. Genma
6. Mousse
7. Kodachi
8. Akane
9. Patricia
10. Kuno

The only reason Patrica is above Kuno is that she has magic she can use.
If she couldn't use magic, then there'd be no way she'd be better than Kuno.

Does this sound realistic?
