In the scenes people have referenced from BGC and ADPolice, where a casket
was showing, the casket was showing in the cemetary, hanging above the hole
in the ground. I doubt they'd go to all that trouble of digging a
casket-sized hole, then cremate it instead.

I still wonder, if these anime series from the 1986-91 time-frame show
standard casket funerals set in the Tokyo area, when were the laws changed
to make such things illegal? (cremations only)
