Ryoga was getting tired of this. First, it was the wide expanse of ocean, then
desert, then heavy forest, a quicksand, caynons, and finally this- mountains.
He went through them all, but could never retrace his route back to Nermia,
Tokyo.
He reached for another rock jutting out of the nearly vertical rockface. It
seemed unusual to him that the rock were so smooth. Mountains were often rocky
and rough, but not smooth.
He glanced upwards and saw an overhead. Grabbing to it, he tried to pull
himself over, but lost his hold on it and fell.

A short distance away, a boy saw the falling object and tugged against his
mother's dress. "Mommy, something fell out of the nose of that head over
there. Is that a snot?"
A sign nerby read: Mount Rushmore.
