Hi all!  ^_^

Because of all the email I've received in the past several weeks,
demanding to know the status of the promised conclusion of Hearts of
Ice,  I thought I'd better let everyone know what's going on with the
fic.

Part 20 is *long.*  (Wow, who'd have guessed?)  ;)  I've written about
45 pages (approx. 80K) on my WordPerfect, and I'm not even close to
being finished.  (<*sigh*>  What *else* is new?)  So, on my "Hearts of
Ice" web page, I made an offer: that anyone who couldn't stand waiting
for the whole of Part 20 to be posted (weeks, maybe months from now)
could email me, and I'd send them what I'd written so far.

I wasn't quite prepared for the magnitude of the responses I received.

So, at this point, as I'm wading through my overflowing email box, I'm
thinking to myself *yet* again, "I wonder if they'll lynch me if I just
post what I've got (with yet another agonizing cliffhanger) to the ML
and tell them to expect a Part 21/22..."

Whaddya think, sirs?  To post or not to post.  Cliffhanger or
conclusion.  That is my dillema.
