Ok, this isn't exactly a fic...more like a tribute...to my favorite Dragonball Z heroine, Bulma. : )

While listening to these songs, I realized how appropos they were to her life and the men in it. I figured I'd post them, just for kicks. The songs are by Merrille Bainbridge, off of her "Garden In My Room" album (which I HIGHLY recommend).

This fist song, called "I Miss You" could be placed around the time after she broke it off finally with Yamucha, and before she got together with Vegeta. I could see these as her after-thoughts regarding her tumultuous relationship with Yamucha (or at least I think so).

I Miss You...
--------------
I was only happy when you drove me crazy.
Everything about you made me feel so lazy.
I never felt so good...and yet, I feel so bad.
You were the strangest lover that I ever had.
But, now I miss you...
Yes, I miss you now that you're gone.

You were always telling me just what I should wear.
I was always combing all the knots from your hair.
You're like a fishman...your hook could pull me in.
Put me in a fry pan, couldn't wait to burn my skin.
But, now I miss you...
Yes, I miss you now that you're gone.

Every Sunday we would laugh a lot,
Making love and breakfast in bed.
You were grumpy when you had to get up.
I would have to toss a coin to see who'd make the bed...

I remember when you broke my favorite teacup.
You just smiled that silly smile that made me upset.
We used to fight a lot, but what a time we had!
And when I think about those days, they're not so bad...
Cause now I miss you...
Yes, I miss you...
I always miss you now that you're gone.

And this next song, called "Let Sleeping Dogs Lay" is dedicated to Bulma and Vegeta, at any point in their relationship (pre- or post- getting together). It just fits them to a "T", I think (gee, also Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo from Ranma 1/2, & Suzu and Kei from Marmalade Boy, too).

Let Sleeping Dogs Lay
----------------------
Why do we torment each other?
Why can't we just let sleeping dogs lay?
Beat each other to a pulp, then make up all in one day.
'Cause I'm getting pretty tired of living life this way.

And it's a loving-kind of pain...I don't know if you know
That it's driving me insane...I don't know where to go!
With this loving-kind of pain...this loving-kind of pain.

Why do you say it like "I know it's right"?
Why can't we just call it quits without a fight?
I don't think you're very smart.
You don't think I'm very pretty.
Yes, we never thought at all,
and it seems like such a pity.

And it's a loving-kind of pain...I don't know if you know
that it's driving me insane...I don't know where to go!
With this loving-kind of pain...this loving-kind of pain.

I looked at the sky,
Holding my hands over my eyes,
Till I fell ou of bed, hurting my head...
On things that you said.

With this loving-kind of pain...this loving-kind of pain...

Ok, that's my kind-of fics for the MLs before I take-off for the weekend. See y'all again on Monday! Have a good one!
