Crossover! The Z-Sailors!

Part 3 - Missing Connection: The Whereabouts of The Princess

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Usagi was still lying there. She was not asleep, nor she was awake. She was
drifting in her subconscious. The time rip was unanticipated, thus causing
a lot of alarm in her innerself. *What caused the time rip?* Sailor Pluto
wasn't there to save them... Maybe it was out of her reach... Mamoru was
clutching her hand tightly. Clutching tightly but still he let go.
Unintentionally.

Sailormoon panicked, the spot of light was getting bigger and bigger. The
hole was opening wider and wider. Sailormoon was so afraid that she might
fall from the sky. Who knows she might had fallen from a hole in the sky?

Sailormoon squeezed her eyes shut. Strange sensations started to come to
life around her. It was not something physical, but it was more to the type
which you feel that your soul was being torn into many tiny pieces.

"Oh no... not this... I would never make it out alive and well, moaned
Sailormoon. Mamoru's grip was also slightly loosening. Sailormoon mustered
all her strength to pulled Mamoru closer to herself, but her power was
pathetically weak, compared to the paranormal energy field of time.

The hole was getting nearer. Suddenly, Mamoru's hand slipped out of reach
and disappeared. Sailormoon tried in vain to grab his hand again, but with
no avail. This time, Sailormoon could feel herself falling. Falling into a
bottomless hole. Suddenly, her head contacted full speed with something very
hard. Sailormoon's body slumped forward and her eyes shut close.

"Tuxedo Mask!" were Usagi's last words she blacked out.

Totally unconscious.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Usagi let out a soft groan. Her head still hurt. Usagi groggily reached up
a hand to feel her own head. A swollen bump was already there. Slowly, she
opened her blue eyes to the stinging rays of sunlight outside.

Suddenly, Usagi could feel a pair of motherly hands feeling her forehead.
Usagi forcibly opened her eyes big and wide, only to see a middle age woman
with large charming eyes. Usagi tried to get up.

"No, just rest, don't get up," said the gentle voice. Usagi slumped back on
the soft futon and closed her eyes. Her head hurt. The pain was near
agonizing... Slowly, she began to slip back into the land of dreams.

She dreamt of the Sliver Millennium. It was misty all around. A figure clad
in a white gown with two hairbuns her head. Her mother queen, Serena, was
sitting in her full official attire. Her gown was embedded with semiprecious
stones and the corset was embroidered with pearls and lace. As Usagi had
always remembered, Queen Serenity of Sliver Millennium had her hair donned
up in two buns.

"Mother..." cried out Usagi softly, yet she felt that was what she needed
to say now. Queen Serenity would be able to hear her...

"Mother..." cried out Usagi again. The serene woman before her smiled
delicately.

"Serenity, my daughter," spoke Queen Serenity gently.

"Mother... where am I now?" asked Usagi feebly. Her headache was returning,
worse this time.

"Be patient, time will tell," were the only words Queen Serenity answered.
Slowly, Queen Serenity began to fade from Usagi's sight. Mist began to
enshroud the whole scene again. The last sight... Usagi saw Queen Serenity
smiled. A smile that was nearly playful and... devious.

Devious?

Usagi didn't know. All this was simply too strange and weird. Almost
bizarre, but not quite... Was Queen Serenity playing a trick? No, it can't
be. Queen Serenity only existed in Usagi's past memories... Things could be
decieving at time.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Miss! Miss! Are you alright? Wake up, please!" yelled a female voice in the
little room with a single bed. Slowly, Usagi opened her eyes and looked into
the glaring sunlight through the opposite window.

The female voice gasped in relief and Usagi turned her head just only to
look into that pair of charming eyes once again. Usagi shook her head to
clear all the dizziness that was still present in her mind. The face before
her became clearer and Usagi could focus better now.

The face was a motherly looking face. Two decorative locks framed her face.
Very kind and warming, it had almost reminded Usagi of Queen Serena. Usagi
got up in a shudder as she remembered the weird dream just now.

"Where am I now?" asked Usagi anxiously, the surroundings were so
unfamaliar... so alien to her perspective.

"You are now in my house in Satan City. Don't worry, you are safe and
sound," assured the middle age woman.

Usagi sighed, her back hunching in relief. Suddenly, Mamoru's face flashed
in her mind. Usagi's eyes widthen in shock. Where was Mamoru? Usagi began
looking around frantically, unnoticing that the woman sitting beside her
was throwing her antonished looks.

"Miss? Are you okay?" asked the woman anxiously.

Usagi got up and clutched the woman's arms. "Did you see a boy about 18
years old around here? Around here with me?"

The woman slowly shook her head. "Iie... I found you unconscious outside my
backyard yesterday morning... Nobody was with you, you were just alone."

Tears began to form in Usagi's eyes... Where was Mamoru? She would be lost
if she was to lost him. Now, she was stuck in some alternate universe in
some place called 'Satan City'. Oh no... Please don't let Mamoru die! At
that very thought, Usagi began brawling out loud.

"Miss... Miss... If you cry like that, I won't be able to help you,"
advised the woman, putting a comforting arm on Usagi's shoulder.

Usagi cried even louder and the woman could do nothing but watch at the
side. At last, Usagi's screams and tears died down. Maybe it wasn't a good
way to solve problems.

"Where am I now?" asked Usagi again, cautiously.

"You are in my house, in 'Satan City', in Chikyusei," repeated the woman,
her eyes showing worry for the young girl before her.

"How did I get here?"

"I found you unconscious in my backyard yesterday evening. You were lying in
this bed until today," explained the woman patiently. "Maybe you could tell
me your problems, my husband and sons will help you."

"Thanks... I think I'm alright now, but I have no where to go. I'm lost
in this world," said Usagi outloud, her face still streaked with tears.

"You can stay at my house for the meantime, as my eldest son has moved out.
He had just been married!" beamed the woman happily. "By the way, what's
your name?"

"Usagi..." whispered Usagi softly. "What's yours?"

"Chi-chi," answered the woman. "I'll cook a plate of noodles for you." As
she said that she got up from her chair and walked away. She closed the door
with a low click. Usagi stared at the door for a long time. Chi-chi...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was nearly dinnertime now; a plate of cold noodles sat by the bedside
table, untouched. Usagi sat on the bed, with her legs drawn up close to her
chest. Sub-consciously, she wrapped her arms around them.

She was alone now. Who would had thought hell broke loose in time
dimensions? Fine, she had lost all her senshi friends, but she had even lost
Mamoru! How was she going to get out of this mess? She didn't know. Chi-chi
said her husband and sons could help her, but how? She had no way to contact
her friends, no way to call Sailor Pluto, no way to call upon Lunar...
Slowly, a tear rolled down her cheek and landed on the bedsheet. At least...
she still had pin with her. Usagi fingered the plate gently. She must not
lose this!

Alright, maybe it wasn't the time to regret and grief, but she should try to
find a way out. Chi-chi was yelling for her to go out and have dinner.
Dinner? Usagi began to feel hunger pangs assaulting her empty stomach.
Weakly, she got up and went outside.

"Good evening," greeted Chi-chi, serving the hot, steaming dishes straight
out of the kitchen. Usagi was truly amazed at the enormous amount of food
piling up on the table. White steamy rice stocked high up in a clay pot and
many types of dishes like fried chicken and steamed vegetables crowded the
table. On the middle of the table, there was a huge roasted turkey with
steamy hot gravy overflowing its side sitting there. Usagi blushed in
embarassment as she heard her own stomach growled loudly the sight and smell
of the food set out. It looked so appetizing and tasty...

Chi-chi got out from the kitchen and wiped her hands absent-mindedly on her
apron. "Usagi, let's have dinner now!" Just then, Chi-chi suddenly breathed
in deeply and yelled, "Goku-sa! If you don't come in and have dinner right
now, don't expect me to cook for you anymore!"

Seconds after that, a figure burst through the front door. Usagi took a
more detailed look at that figure. It was a tall and bulkily-built man with
wild hair sticking out at all directions. The man wore a big smile and he
was putting a hand behind his head. He was dressed in an orange gi with a
belt tied around his waist. *Must be Chi-chi's husband. What did she call
him just now? Oh yeah, Goku,* thought Usagi silently. She bit her lower lip,
Chi-chi said her husband will be able to help her.

"Wah... so much food. Thank you, Chi-chi." In a flash, Goku was sitting at
the head of the table, digging in the food.

"Usagi, help youself," invited Chi-chi.

"Thanks," answered Usagi, her mouth filled with food. Usagi began eating
furiously, her eyes shining brightly as she stuffed her mouth full of food.
Goku was not losing to Usagi either, Goku glomped down a whole chicken at
one shot, as Usagi finished off a plateful of fried noodles. Soon, the table
was rather empty now, except for the huge turkey there. Just then, Goku and
Usagi eyed the turkey hungrily. Both of them lunged at the turkey at the
same time, but Goku was faster.

"Hey! I want the turkey!" yelled Usagi, her eyes turning large and wobbly
with tears. Goku just gave her an oblivious look and went on to tear the
turkey into pieces.

"Hey!" Usagi got up from the kitchen chair and went ahead to snatch the
turkey from Goku's hands. Goku took hold of the turkey, swerving sideways
deftly to avoid Usagi's clutches.

"Hey! This turkey's mine!" yelled Goku, already chewing through the
drumstick.

"I don't care!" yelled Usagi back and tried to grab hold of one of the
wings. Goku stuck a tongue out and ran out of the house. Usagi glared at
Goku; she ran after him, yelling "Give me back the turkey!" Usagi raised her
fist menacingly at Goku.

Goku was simply too fast for Usagi to catch up. Every now and then, Goku
will stop there, waiting for Usagi to catch while he, himself, stood there
chewing away at the turkey.

Usagi suddenly got an idea, if Goku was so fast, she should be able to
defeat him with this point. Just as Goku as at the other side of the small
house, Usagi pulled a laundry rope from the tree across to the wall of the
building. Usagi counted silently in her heart as she waited for Goku to come
over and see what happened to her. Soon, Goku came running over with the
half eaten turkey.

"Owww!!!"

Usagi smirked and leaped over to grab the turkey from Goku's clutch; but
Goku stood up again in a flash. Usagi's leap fell short of the turkey and
she landed with a thud. She was knocked breathless. Usagi bit her lower lip.
She had to get her hands that turkey... She stood up and ran after Goku
once again.

At last, Usagi was totally tired out. With a flop, she sat down on the
grass. "Wah!!! Why is everybody so cruel to me?! I'm lost in this world yet
all of you won't even let me eat a turkey! Wah!!!" wailed Usagi loudly. Hot
tears began to stream down Usagi's face.

Chi-chi also ran our of the house. "Goku! If you don't stop right now, I'm
going to chop off your head!" screamed Chi-chi angrily, her husband was
already that old, yet he was acting like some three year old. Huh! Speaking
of Saiyajin warriors... Chi-chi rolled her eyes in irritation. Now what? He
had actually bullied a girl into crying over some roasted turkey.

Sure enough, Goku stopped, but he didn't like to see girls cry. Slowly, he
walked over towards Usagi and handed her a turkey wing. "Here, don't cry
anymore..."

Usagi stopped crying, with a swift movement of her hand, she snatched the
wing and began stuffing it down her throat. Chi-chi sighed exasperately and
walked over to sit beside Usagi. "Usagi, this is my husband. You can tell
him your problems and I'll make sure he helps you. Right, Goku?" said
Chi-chi, glaring at Goku.

"Yeah..." answered Goku.

Usagi finished off the wing and looked at Goku. *Well, he looks rather
honest. I'm sure he's a good guy.* With a desperate sigh, Usagi began her
story...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Usagi wept even louder than just now when she finished her story. Goku
just stared at her jarred mouth. He didn't get what was she trying to say.
Time dimensions collapsing, evil creature terrorizing the earth, girls in
fukus lost... Goku scratched his head in confusion.

"Okay, we will find a way out. By the way, what are the Sailor Scouts?"
asked Goku innocently. Chi-chi heard that and smashed Goku's head with her
fist.

"Can't you can keep your big mouth shut?" screamed Chi-chi at Goku angrily.
Goku just grinned and turned back to Usagi.

"Don't worry, I'll ask my son to help you out when he comes back. Chi-chi,
where's Goten?" asked Goku.

"He's over at Trunks' place. Some project work, I guess. Maybe not."
answered Chi-chi. She knew that Goten and Trunks were the best of friends.

Goku sighed. "When will he be back?"

"I don't know. Usagi, you can stay here for the meantime," consoled Chi-chi,
patting the girl on the shoulder.

"Thanks..." Usagi sighed unhappily. Her life was like on a roller coaster;
never letting her understand truly what is happening around her... Maybe
Goku's son would be able to help her out... Maybe if luck was over at her
side, she might be able to find her friends and get back to Tokyo.

Life was so difficult sometimes.
