I know it's not the
point of the story but a bit more devellopment of the first few days
between Ryoga and Lara would be nice. It'll allow us to better know
her before the fun begins.

I disagree.  I think Ryouga is being told too much too soon.  It spoils a
lot of the suspense of the story.

I would like to see a rewrite where the lost boy is simply dragged along
and left to figure things out himself.  (Thereby filling in the readers
who might not know much about Amber and leaving those that do guessing.)
