I've just thought of something. Of course, it might not make any
sense, but here goes:
Postulate:
Kuno wants to date Akane and the pig-tailed girl.
Kodachi wants to marry Ranma.
Ukyo wants to marry Ranma.
Shampoo wants to marry Ranma.
Mousse wants to marry Shampoo.
Ryoga wants to date (and eventually marry?) Akane.
Given:
date <> marry (where <> = not equal to)
Where am I getting with this? Well, take note the last statement. Take
a look at Kuno. If somewhere down the line Kuno decides he no longer
wishes to date either girl, then that's that. Draw conclusion that
Kuno's love for Akane and the pig-tailed girl is rather loose, as his
thoughts only go so far as DATING, not marriage (unless I'm mistaken,
Kuno basically only professes a desire to date either girl, unless you
count Vol.38 where Kuno tells Akane that he wants to marry him, but I
consider that based on circumstances alone, as Akane was all dressed up
and nowhere to go, so to speak). As we've been shown that the others
think about MARRIAGE, not simply dating, Kuno must be more insecure in
his love life than the others. Not to mention the fact that he's very
selective about which girls he'd 'allow' to date him (eg. Kuno never
asks Shampoo out). This might have something to do with his playboyish
life-style.
So why is Kuno insecure about his love life? You write something and
post it, of course.
