growing more confused and angry by the moment.

"I don't care, grab a bucket and stand over there with the rest of the
troublemakers." the instructor growled, obviously loosing patience.

Ryouga started to reach over his shoulder for his umbrella to teach this
fool a
lesson when he recognized one of the figures standing in the hallway.

"Yes sir" he said contritely, picking up a bucket, "It'll never happen again."

Ryouga, bucket  held casually in hand, marched over to join his beloved Akane,
not yet realizing that one of the other figures was someone not so beloved to
him.

I can see quite a few scenarios in which Ryouga might end up in the hall with
Akane and the others. He is quite likely to end up at Furinkan when the others
are there. He is also one of the most gullible, impressionable, and most
easily
distracted denizens of the Ranmaverse. There are any number of mechanisms
available to set up this situation in almost any way you could wish.
