Hi everyone.
Earlier I posted a commercial for a fanfic crossover I was working on.
This is sorted of a description of the idea and a request for thoughts,
feelings, and other such things. I'm semi-new to the list and to
fanfiction in general. This isn't the only thing I'm working on, merely
the wierdest. Anyway, on to business! 

Basically the premise is that the aniverse was shattered by a major
event, at this point in the story it is unknown. I actually plan it to
be from a multiple of sources culminating in the rending. 

Four otaku are chosen to defend the anime world as it tries to heal
itself. They are:
Adam the Stealthful- a blond and characteristic middle class white guy.
He is heroic and noble upon discovering his quest, however in normal
life he tends to be a little more narcissistic. He has the slight
problem in that he tries to be naive, even when presented with direct
facts that try to shatter his illusions. To him anime is both a moving
yet amusing hobby and an ideal to strive against, especially his hero
Son Goku. He has the special ability to learn skills and techniques
merely by watching them in anime. 

Patrick the Mighty- a long haired blue eyed guy who tends to wear
flannels and torn up clothes. He is always a little odd, not quite
understanding of the other members of the human species. He often has
trouble communicating with them. Whenever he tries to be serious and
deep, he gets one of two responses, either standing ovations from the
people listening to his monologue or ridicule and jeers. To him anime is
the healing light and the one true thing to which all things evolve. He
is in love with an anime character from an obscure series. His special
power is that he can take on characteristics and absorb the nature of
anime he has seen. For example he can temporarily summon Birdie The
Mighty, and share his body with her. Incidentally this is what he is
doing in the commercial when he walks on transformed into a kawaii girl
and then changes back to himself. He, however, has not gained complete
control over this ability. He is forced to carry the Magic Bag, in which
the group holds all of their equipment. 

Ivan the Pink Cowboy- is an Asian man with short back hair carefully
combed to have a split in the middle. He wears glasses. He is very easy
to offend, and can be very defensive. He has an obsession with
accomplishing goals and will let nothing stand in his way, even innocent
bystanders caught up in the action. He wears a trenchcoat which he
thinks makes him looks really cool, but normally just makes him look
ridiculous. He carries a shotgun which, when he is in the right mood, do
phenominal damage. 

Jeff-Kun the Dancing Bear- is a slightly shorter than average guy with
short brown hair and a darker complexion. He gets picked on by the rest
of the group a lot for a myriad reasons. He normally takes it all in
good stride but occassionally gives up and leaves. He is a mighty
sidekick with all the powers that go along with being a sidekick. He
knows a lot, and normally can find out information and do research. His
fighting skills are unknown but occassionally he manifests his powers in
the form of a giant raging cute cuddly teddy bear. Nobody lets him get
over this.

These Noble Four are confronted with a variety of challenges including
Sam the Unbeliever (an anti-anime man), Average American Audiences, the
Disney Corruption, and other such things. On top of this, they must deal
with anime villians running rampant trying to turn the shattering of the
aniverse to their advantage. Their greatest opponent and the most
difficult to face are the other otaku themselves. Their fierce beliefs
and feelings toward events and characters could concievably destroy
anime as it is known. Events such as the death of Roy Fokker may never
happen. Suddenly Ranma may find himself married to somebody or other,
depending on which Fiance Faction gains ascendancy. Even their personal
feelings themselves come into play as they grapple with the End of
Evangelion. Worst of all there is Mr. Universe, a godlike narrator-like
power trying to force them all into stereotypical roles: Adam as the
Hero, Patrick as the cynical crazy guy, Ivan as the dangerous pretty
boy, and Jeff-Kun as the sidekick. Hang in there Kawaikune Team
Fighters!

These events of course, occur in a variety of landscapes from the local
comic books/anime store to the wastelands of former Jurai to scenic
Nerima. They will also ally themselves with other forces including the
lost Dr. Tofu, Ruri Hoshino, and other anime characters who managed to
survive the shattering unscathed. What will happen in the end?
