Love Lost, Love gained?

**Spoiler Warning**

	Misato sat holding Shinji's empty plug suit and crying. She 
couldn't believe they failed. That Shinji was lost forever. "Damnit!
What good is all your science if can save on little life? Give me back
my Shinji. GIVE HIM BACK!!"
	<KA-SPLOSH>
	Misato looked in the direction of the sound and gasp. The
bridge crew looked stunned. Ritsuko looked at the view screen and
muttered "It can't be!".
	Misato watched the strange woman in front of unit 01's core 
as she got up. The woman appeared to be about her and Ritsuko's
age and looked like an adult Rei. The naked woman looked around
nervously as she tried to cover herself. "W-What....H-how..."
	"Who are you?" Asked Misato.
	The women looked at Misato. "Who am I? W-Who are you?
I know most of the people in Gehirn. I-I don't think I've met you."
	*Gehirn? That term hasn't used in....YAAAH!!* Misato yelped
as she was nearly run down by a black blur that turned out to be
Gendo. Gendo rushed to the woman and hugged her. "Oh I missed
you so much!"
	Misato watched stunned. Was Gendo the bastard Ikari crying!?
Fuyuzuki walked up behind her smiling at the two. "It is good to see
you again Dr. Ikari."
	Yui looked at the two men nervously. "Gendo, Professor
Fuyuzuki? W-What's happened? W-Why are you both so old?"
	Gendo ignored her questions and continued to hug her. He
was glad just to have her back. Then she asked a question that stopped
him cold. 
	"SHINJI! Gendo where's Shinji!?" Behind him, Gendo could
hear Misato saying sarcastically. "Yeah commander! Where is Shinji!?"

Notes:
1)I got this Idea after thinking about a part in ShortYes's Future/Past.
In which Ritsuko states that if anything should have come out of unit
01 other than Shinji it should have been Yui. Well I was also thinking
of the question "What if Shinji couldn't be saved from unit 01?" Then it
hit me "What if Yui came out of unit 01 instead of Shinji?"

Anyway thanks to ShortYes for writing that part in Future/Past. 

2)Some you might ask "If Yui's been helping Shinji fight all this time,
why doesn't she remember anything?" Well I've heard that Shinji lost
some of his memory when he was trapped inside an angel or EVA for
some time. I figure that process of leaving unit 01 caused Yui to lose
some of her memory.

3)I wonder what Gendo's answer will be. Well he:
	a)Try to lie to her.
	b)Tell her the true.
	c)or will he get a bad case of the Ahhumms.
	"Ahh..umm..ahh..umm..ahh..ahh..umm..ahh..umm..umm"

4)What will Yui's reaction be when she finds out? Well she:
	a)Forgive him (Yeah right!)
	b)Tear him a new asshole
	c)or will she hunt him down with a battle axe.
