Prologue

	Misato sat at her desk doing paper work. More and more
her job dissatisfied her. What was once a great crusade to destroy the
angels had become....Misato didn't know what it had become, only
she didn't like it anymore.
	She had almost lost Shinji twice already. Kaji, probably the
only man she ever loved, was now dead. And now Asuka had 
seemingly lost her mind after being mentally raped by the 15th angel
and losing her piloting ability. She and Shinji rarely saw Asuka now
and when they did she was always in a sever depression that could
turn to rage in an instant. *My revenge isn't worth this.* Thought
Misato as she continued her work.
	She stopped when the phone rang. Picking up the receiver
Misato spoke. 
	"NERV Director of Operations Major Katsuragi, speaking."
	[Umm Misato..] It was Shinji and he seemed nervous.
	"Shinji? What's wrong?"
	[Umm well I when came home a few minutes ago and Asuka
was there with this girl there. She seemed to be kissing or biting Asuka
on the neck.]
	Misato put on a bored expression and rested her head on her
hand. "Shinji, I hope you didn't call here just to tell me Asuka's becoming
a pervert."
	[NOO! Umm you see, after the girl was finished she looked
at me. The girl had golden eyes! Umm well then she giggled, jumped
out the window, and vanished.]
	"Is that it she just jumped out the window and disappeared...."
Misato then stopped. "Wait-a-minute we're on the EIGHTH floor!"
	[Ah yeah I know. I think she was an angel.]
	Misato was stunned. An angel in her own HOME. "W-What
about Asuka!?"
	[Ah That's the weird part. When I asked Asuka about what
just happen, she just said that everything was fine and sat down. Now
she isn't angry. She isn't mean. S-She just sits there with this blank 
look and big grin on her face. It's umm it's kind of creepy.]
	*Oh no, hasn't Asuka gone through enough.* "all right Shinji
keep calm. I'll call Ritsuko and your father. Just keep an eye on her."
	[Umm Okay] Misato hung up the phone then dialed a number.
	[This is commander Ikari.]
	"Commander I think we another angel."
	[Another angel? Explain.]
	"Shinji just called and stated that a girl with golden eyes may
have attacked Asuka. He then stated that said girl jumped out an
eighth floor window and disappeared."
	[Did you say golden eyes?]
	"Yes sir."
	[Very good Major, you're right. Designate this girl the 16th
angel. I want her eliminated immediately. Use the EVAs if you have
to (click)]
	Misato looked at the receiver. "Umm Yes sir." She then started
dialing Ritsuko.
