This is another one of the TOS Soliloquies that I put out when the mood
strikes me. There have already been two previous ones: Shampoo: A Woman's
Pride, and Ranko: Reflections.
They're not available on the Cali Cat Online, but I've thought about it.
If anyone thinks I should, please let me know, daijo?
Thanks,

I sit here on my balcony, watching the rain pitter-patter on the rail.
A rainy day in old San Fran, a quiet day, a reflective day.
A day to think Grand Thoughts;
About saving the world, or friends back in Nerima,
But all I can think about is her.

>From the very first time I saw her, I knew where my leart lay.
"It's weird," they said. "How can you, at the age of 5,
barely in the start of life,
Barely on that grand adventure,
Know who is to hold your heart?"

I suppose they might have been right. I was younger then,
Not as understanding, not as believing,
Like every child who believes they are immortal, and every
kid that does not know when tomorrow will come,
And yet I knew who would hold my heart.

I knew it through the good times and the bad.
I knew it when I almost lost her to the law and to her own heart.
I knew it when even she herself didn't know.
I knew it when I nearly lost her because I lost myself;
the scars on my chest reminding me daily.

And through it all,
Through fights and through danger,
Through demons and ninjas,
Through immigration and naturalization,
Even through our lives in Nerima,
I knew it would be her.

Even now, as she slips her arms around me,
And whispers in my ear,
Words that equate to a chorus of angels, a symphony
 of doves on the wing,
"Muu Tsu, I love you."

I turn and look into her amethyst eyes,
Her hair, a rich shade of violet,
And I think about where we've been and
 Where we'll go.
I think about that...

...and I know why she's the one
Who Holds My Heart.

Tadzunetsuru Being on my way to pay a visit,
Hana ka tote koso I found that which I took to be a flower,
Hi wo kurase Therefore, here I spend the day...
Akenu ni otoru Why in that time before dawn that dawn-blush
Akane sasuran? tint should glow--
				That, indeed, I know not.
