Ya I've noticed some changes in the house layout. The tub does seem to
move around.

No, Happosai stays in the front room.
The OAV book has a drawing of his room and from the drawing it is

clear

that happi is in the front room.

      1. The room has 8 tatami mats. (The back one has but 6)
      2. The room has a window to the outside (Koi pond side)
         The back room has no window.
      3. The room has a passage window that faces the front door
         (This matches a picture of the front entry.

I still can't believe that Soun wouldn't have the large room on the
bootom floor and instead be in the small nook behind the family room. I
may have to watch some happosai episodes as see if I can tell for sure.
I don't even recall seeing soun in his room in an episode.

Unfortunately the house drawings of the floorplans do not correctly
line up with the exterior drawings,

Architecture Spoilers

      The stairs as drawn would pass through the roof when going

from

      the first floor to the second floor.

I noticed that the stairs also disagree with the scene in the first tv
episode. Kasumi shows Ranma to his room and turns around 180 degrees
after comming up the stairs and goes down a hallway and hangs a right.
The plans don't show that. But there's only one place ranma and genma
could be on the 2nd floor. Acording to this plan at least.
