So why not turn it around? Have Cologne as the villain, and force Ranma
to go to *Happosai* for training.
The only problem with this is that Cologne's *always* the villain. :P
In fanficts.
Yea, that's what I meant. :)
In the manga she's generally on Ranma's side as long
as he's not against Shampoo. Happosei however is almost always the bad guy.
A story where he becomes the good guy would be interesting from it's
novelty.
You may have a point... ^_^
Just stating a fact, though the trick is figuring out how to cast
Happosei in a positive light. Hmm, perhapse if he had foreknowledeg of his own
death, he did seem a lot nicer when he was dying in the TV episode. And of
course there's always the bit where it could turn out that he's actually a near
saintly guy who long ago chose to become the living prision of a powerful lust
demon to protect the world. Or of course he could just go on a pilgramage to
the tomb of the inveneter of the bra and have a vision which prompts him to
turn over a new leaf.

The slender girl, Ryako, only gave him a cute, yet somewhat wolfish,
grin. "Aw, you're no fun, Ryoga," she said, hitting him on the shoulder
playfully. "Here we are, so close, and you won't let me read what you're
writing?" She snuggled up against him, smirking to herself.
Ryoga apparently didn't notice that she was only kidding, because his
face glowed a bright red and he nervously inched away from her. "C-close?"
He stammered. "I...well...you see..."
