What has come before;
What happens when a roommate forgets to turn off the iron.
In one fell swoop all the anime universes are consumed in fire and an Otaku
looses his mind and becomes a fanfiction author. Washu finds Shinji floating
in Unit 01 and the two of them are attempting to make things right. Can the
last two people left alive in all the multiple universes save creation? Who
knows.

Chapter 2 Nihao my Okonomibaka
An Infinity Incorporated production
Written by Mark J. Raming Jr. Uchann@Aol.com
It had been almost a month since Shinji had been rescued from the remains of
Unit 01 and he had been studying under Washus computer system in some of
the subjects she thought he would need if he were to help her out.
"Miss Washu?" Shinji started hesitantly as Washu typed furiously at her
workstation.
Washu turned to look at him her eyebrow raised and her lips forming a slight
frown.
Shinji, realising what he had just said backpeddled slightly, "Sorry!
Washu-chan, Washu-chan!"
Washus frown turned upside down into a large smile, "Yes Shinji how may I
help you?"
"Wellyou see.I was wondering."
"Spit it out Shinji."
"I was wondering who these people are in the picture. This girl with the
blue hair especially. Youve got an individual picture of her."
Washu sighed and looked to the floor. Shinji imagined he looked very much
like that when thinking of his friends and mother. She stood there for what
seemed like an hour, but was probably just a few seconds. He had really
stuck his foot in his mouth this time he was quite sure.
"Thats my daughter," Washu said almost inperceptably. And then a second
time louder, "Thats Ryoko, my daughter."
Shinji was floored, daughter? Washu? Finally he found his voice, "But you
cant be much older than me! And this girls probably four or five years
older than me! This cant be your daughter."
Washu looked as Shinji went through a variety of reactions until he finally
settled on disbelief. She let him speak his mind for a few sentences before
she decided to make him quiet down. She moved close and placed a finger on
his lips shifting his attention from what he was thinking to her finger.
"Shinji wernt you paying attention when I said I was the Greatest
Scientific Mind in the universe?"
Shinji shook his head in the affirmative, not able to speak with Washus
hand now covering his mouth.
"And did you think a fourteen year old girl could be the Greatest Scientific
Mind in the universe Shinji?"
Shinji thought about it. He had just assumed that Washu was like Asuka, a
genius or child prodigy or whatever they liked to be called and after she
removed her hand he told her so.
Washu smiled that coy little smile she used and took a step back from
Shinji. She then grew almost two feet taller andwell.filled out her dress.
Shinji stumbled back a few feet his eyes growing wider with each passing
second.
"Wha? How? Huh? This? Huh?" and when that last huh came out he blinked
rapidly only to see the Washu he knew, the fourteen year old Washu, the one
he understood. At that point he promptly passed out.
The Next Morning:
"I still cant believe all thats happened to you." Shinji said before
stuffing a bite of waffle into his mouth.
Washu still chewing didnt have much in the way of manners, "Believe it! And
all that was after I got free from The Souja."
"Well at least it explains why you know so much."
"Enough about me though, what about your family?" Washu said shoving a
syrupy mess into her mouth.
Shinji sighed and looked down at his plate no longer feeling hungry. His
fork made slow lazy circles in the mush that had become his waffles.
Two Hours Later:
Washu brought the soda down from her lips and slammed the can on the table
causing Shinjis glass of water to topple over, "WHY THE NERVE OF THAT MAN!
HE OUGHT TO BE."
Shinji coughed slightly and looked at Washu, "I dont know Washu, when I
think of my father I just get confused. Do I hate him? Do I respect him? I
just dont know."
"Well Shinji since I dont think its right you call me mom why dont you
call me Big Sister. You and I are the only ones left, well until tonight
that is, were all the family in the universe."
Shinji was a little shocked. Where had this come from. "Wellll.ok Miss
Washu."
Washu gave him the raised eyebrow look again, "Uhhyes Big Sister. Wait a
minute, what did you mean when you said that we were the only ones left
until tonight."
"Oh you heard that did you?"
Shinji shook his head affirmative and settled in for another long story. To
his surprise he didnt get one.
"Well I finished my machine and I think its ready for testing. It should
pick up all of the like molocules from one body and turn it into a fully
functunal human being. At least I hope it does."
"Oh Brother Washu! You mean were going to test it tonight? Should we try
gathering rabbits or something less complex?"
"Now now Shinji Im sure that itll work."
And with that the doomed duo walked out of the kitchen and into Washus New
and Improved Super Genius Laboratory
"Now Shinji you stand her with this large clublike object and hammer
whatever materializes on that circle."
"Got it Washu." Shinji said with enthusiasm, and then he thought for a
second, "Why am I hitting whatever comes through the portal Washu?"
"It might be a meglomaniac seeking universal conquest and we dont want him
time to concoct a fiendish plot that we as the heroes would be forced to
waste time stopping. And Shinji,"
"Yes"
"Call me Big Sister."
A huge sweatdrop formed on the back of Shinjis head as his eyes dropped to
the ground, "Yes Big Sister"
Washu smiled at him and then looked down at her keyboard and began furiously
typing away as the smallish circle maybe 3 feet in diameter began glowing.
Shinji watched as a human shape began to form in the light.
The light began growing brighter and brighter and Shinji was strained not to
take his eyes off it.
"Shinji! Ive picked up two more signatures forming with the first. It seems
that the signatures are very much alike."
"Separate them Washu!" Shinji yelled above the growing vacuum noise his
makeshift club raised to the ready. He began to imagine a mutated human fly
creature.
"I cant! Its overloading!"
"Somethings coming through Washu!"
"Club It Shinji!"
And Shinji did, striking the human/creature square on the back of the skull
sending it flying off the circle and down onto the floor.
The light faded and Shinji and Washu both rubbed their eyes and looked at
the hideously mutated creature that had come through the re-atomizer thingy.
"You know Big Sister, it doesnt look nearly as horrid as I imagined a
combined people monster would look like."
"Actually Shinji shes kind of cute, you might have found a new friend."
"Washu!"
The person they were speaking about groaned and rolled to one side. She had
short purple hair and was wearing what appeared to be a street vendors
outfit. Her face was cute with a small grimace showing how hard Shinji had
probably hit her. She groaned again and opened her eyes and waited as they
tried to adjust to the light.
"I no can see."
Washu leaned closer to the girl, "Its just an after affect of being
re-atomized. Dont worry itll fade in a few days."
Shinji looked at her closely, her voice had a distinct Chinese accent to it,
but she looked very Japanese. In fact the uniform had a very Kansai look to
it. "Dont worry miss, youve just been brought back from the dead."
"Whats that sugar? The dead you say?" The girls voice had changed
slightly.
Washu pulled a strange device out of.somewhere and began running it back
and forth above the girl while it gave strange clicks and beeping sounds.
Shinji on the other hand in an attempt to read what was written on the
uniform stumbled a bit and tripped, falling on the girl.
The girls eyes opened wide but didnt focus on Shinji, she was still blind.
"Get off of me you pervert!" She yelled and with that a large hammer
materialized and knocked Shinji straight across the room into a wall and
right into nappy time.
"Transmutation of objects. The wings of the light hawk!" Washu stated
growing more and more excited.
"What are you talking about?" The girl sat up and looked in the wrong
direction, "Aiyah now I know how mousse feel."
"I cant wait to make you the new guinnepig for my experiment!"

Next on The Day Anime Died:
Ukyou, Akane, and Shampoo all in the same body. How will they deal with the
fact that all known universes are dead? How will the three of them deal with
it until Washu figures out how to separate them? And how will Shampoo deal

Hiya everybody my mind has solidified.I think. Standard Disclaimer applies.
For Continuity sake I figure that this Washus from the OVA and Second Movie
and I only know Shinji through the sixth tape as of this writing. Im still
pretty confused about how Im going to do this Akane, Ukyou, Shampoo thing
but hey if you have any suggestions I welcome them.
