In the end, it's not too different that what you've described as the

marrying two boys, so I guess this is the most plausible extreme case.

Okay, but my point was that Soun and Genma are attempting to push Ranma
and Akane's marriage to maintain their honor. There's no way that they
could use this argument, meaning they don't have a leg to stand on.

Of course, there's always the reverse. Ranma and Akane fall in love,
while the parent's try to keep them apart. The two would then use the
'curse' to their advantage in trying for a sembalance of legitamacy.

Now that I think of it, there's a fic that has Ranma and Tenchi fall in
love with one another, but it seems to deal with the emotions of the two,
and the fiancees more than the possible repercussions of honor, and social
acceptance.

No, I'm not writing these. I like planning stories with plot twists, and
shaggy dog stories.

The sardines weren't worth the trouble. A few more shots, then
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode. Ducking around a corner,
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of
my Anime supplier.

One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed. "Tell me."
I insisted. He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
"Last chance. Where can Ranma-Ranma find good fanfics?"
"Try Jason Liao." he whispered, before he slumped to the floor.
I heard the sounds of a door splintering as I left through the
window, one step ahead of Tendo Heavy Industries...
