 time?  If so, I wonder what she's _really_ thinking underneath?
 
 I wonder what would happen if somehow her behavioural overrides got
 switched off?

I have cat and she's always loving.  I guess It depends more on the breed of
cat.  Anyhoo, cats do have varying personalities very much like humans and
such a general statement isn't really true.  Unless, of course, you had a
tramautic childhood experience ;). 
As far as Nuku Nuku having some behavorial parameters,  I don't think it
matters.  She looks happy the way she is.  SHe seems content on being
Ryunosuke's bodygaurd, then again, I wonder...
What would happen if nuku was dog instead of a cat?
NO NO! I won't think of it!  I love Nuku Nuku the way she is!!  Ganbette!
