Mamoru answered his door, only to be nearly knocked over by a
wailing girl with long blonde pigtails. "Usako," he asked, "what's
the matter?"
"Oh, Mamo-chan...I'm..." Usagi sniffled. "I'm p...p...pr...." she
began wailing again.
"Shhh...calm down, Usako. Tell me what's wrong..."
"I'm PREGNANT!" Usagi sobbed.
Mamoru froze. "Wh..what?"
"I went to...to the doctor...she said I'm...going to have a...a
baby..."
Mamoru blinked. "Usako...can I ask you something?"
Usagi looked up at him, sniffling. "Wh...what?"
"Who's the father?"
Usagi blinked. "Well...you are, of course...right?"
Mamoru shook his head. "Usako...the last time we made love was
before...I left. I think you'd have noticed this by now if it were
me."
"Oh." Usagi shifted uncomfortably.
"So," Mamoru asked again. "Who is it?"
Usagi turned dark red, and faced away from Mamoru, sniffling. He
placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Usagi," he said. "I know I was gone for a long time. I can
understand that you must have been lonely." He paused. "Is it Seiya?"
Usagi shook her head. "Not Seiya," she said.
"Is it someone I know?" he asked. Usagi nodded. Mamoru made several
incorrect guesses. Finally, he said, "Please...just tell me who it
is."
Usagi shook her head. "No...it's too embarrassing..."
Mamoru leaned over, hugging her. "Please tell me."
Usagi sniffled, and leaned over, whispering into Mamoru's ear. His
eyes widened. "WHAT!?" He looked like he was going to be ill. "How
long...? How often...?" Usagi whispered into his ear again. Mamoru
turned an unusual shade of green, and stood. "Pardon me," he said, "I
need to be sick..."

Ikuko sighed as she straightened up her children's bedrooms. Usagi's
room tended to be a mess of clothing and lazily tossed manga. Her
son's room, on the other hand...
She grimaced as she opened the door to the waste dump that was
Shingo's room. This being the day she did laundry, she went to strip
the sheets from the bed. As she did so, her nose wrinkled at the
terrible odor the bed was giving off. "What on earth?" she wondered,
tossing the bedspread and covers into her laundry basket. "If I
didn't know better, I'd swear that smells like..." Her eyes widened.
Then she laughed. "Nah," she said as she stripped the pungent sheet
from the bed. "must be my imagination. Besides, since when does
Shingo bring girls up here?"

"Godzilla is attacking! What should we do?"
"Lure him to Texas."
"Right! The air there would kill anything!"
