I don't usually go on long rants, but I thought that
I would give it a try. Dr.Thinker and Oscar are
often considered two of the worst fanfiction writers
ever. They can't spell to  save their lives,  they do
things that just aren't in proper
eitiquette as fanfiction authors (Killing other writers
and having sex with cats) and being rude to people
who criticize their works. Now, I am considered 
a parody writer, because I do things so silly and so
stupid that you can't believe that I'm serious. Which
makes me think: Why would people call me a satirist
and these two guys bad writers? I am a bad speller,
I do a lot of things that aren't in proper etiquette as 
a fanfiction author and I have been rude to people who
have criticized my  works. (And to those people I should
say that I am very sorry for the way  I acted)  Now, I
am suggesting that maybe Dr.Thinker and Oscar are 
satirists themselves because it really is hard to believe 
that someone wouldn't write that badly on purpose.

Until I find better things to write about. Ja ne.

   Well, for starters, you _can_ write.  Far too often, even on those
 rare occasions when Dr. T and Oscar manage to get something that
 approximates an idea, or a good joke, or even a decent gross-out,
 their inability to use the English language totally destroys the
 effort.  Furthermore, on those occassions when they've been goaded
 into some kind of actual response, it has become clear that they
 are actually that bad at writing, unable to even run a basic
 spellcheck program.

   As you've correctly implied, there are more bizarre, twisted things
 on this list than Oscar's pathetic little fantasies.  The thing is,
 those have been written by people with at least the minimum
 comprehension of such things as grammar, style and word usage, making
 it possible to read the joke.

   You compared what you write and how you behave on the list to
 Oscar's writing.  However, there is never any indication of true
 humor in any of Herm-boy's writing.  Look at your tag line for a
 second.  Right there, you give the reader the hint that you aren't
 taking all of this too seriously.  I, for one, have never seen you
 make a rude, on-list post to anyone unless their C&C indicated that
 they hadn't caught the joke.

   If Oscar or Dr.T were actually writing scathing parodies of other
 works, or just of trends they see on the list, that would be one
 thing.  But there is nothing but the grossest level of
 self-absorption and conceit anywhere in their works.

   And that's the difference.  I'm intrigued by your defense of them,
 but it doesn't wash (and remember, I'm one of the people who reads
 your stuff regularly, and enjoys it).

   OTOH, let's say you're right, and these two are just satirists. 
 Then they are, in fact, utter failures, for the true measure of any
 author is, "Does the reader react in the way I wanted them to react?"

   I sincerely doubt that the Dudly Duo are trying to become the most
 reviled individuals in the world of fanfiction.
