Okay folks, before we begin. I want you to know that this is an OSA..
. that stands for, Original Story Adventure (the fanfic equivolent of
an OAV... or is that OVA?)

Also, can anyone spot the two gratuitous cameos?

				 TRIO OSA:
(Special Guest Stars from Oh! My Brother)
			        DEATH GHIDORA
				  Part 1:
				RECRUITMENT!

[WARNING: This arc of TRIO contains scenes of intense graphic
violence. Those with weak stomachs may want to skip over this arc.
This is more like an OAV or a movie, then part of the main story
anyway.]

She was floating through the mystical void, searching, trying to
find her way. She drew closer and closer to her objective, keeping
the image of it firmly in her mind. The image of a friend, gone for
far too long.

	She was close, and then...

	"Well? Did you find her?"

	"Is she okay?"

	"What's happening?"

	"How is she?"

	"Please tell us she's okay."

Her concentration broken by the questions, Rei Hino turned away from
the fire alter in front of her and roared, "WILL YOU ALL SHUT UP!"

The other Senshi and Mamoru, jumped back in surprise at the fire
priestess's violent outburst. She continued, "I'm just as worried as
the rest of you, but if you keep asking me questions every two
seconds, I'm never going to be able to get a fix on her!"

Giving the others an evil look, she added, "And if I heard one more
interruption from anybody, I'm going to sacrifice them to the fire."

The others fell silent, not willing to find out if their friend was
bluffing or not.

Rei turned back to the fire and concentrated again. To herself, she
thought, "Okay. Maybe that was a little harsh, but I really am just
as worried as the rest of you."

Sinking back into a deeper state of consciousness, Rei traveled on
another plane, using her skills and natural ability to journey the
distance of half the world at the speed of thought. Before her, the
area of the world on the psychic plane that was New York was sprawled
out before her.

The psycic plane looked much different then the normal one. What
was once blue was purple. What was once green was orange. Rei
herself was literally a ghostly white and, for some reason, whenever
she traveled on the psycic plane, she got the impression that she
wasn't wearing any clothing. Although, mirrors didn't work on the
plane and so, she wasn't certain.

She dove down towards the city's aura, but came upon a barrier. The
psycic shock was mild, not enough to knock her out of the state she
was in, but enough to deny her entry into the city, where her friend
currently was. "What the..." she thought.

She tried several more times to get through, with no success, then
sent her essence up higher, to get a view of the city. She frowned
as she saw that the city was covered in an invisible dome of dark
energy. She wondered if it was some kind of psycic shield, but then
saw another psycic form, a bald man in a wheelchair, zoom out from
the city and then return seconds later.

"So the block is just against complete outsiders," Rei thought, "Ami
did say that this Eclipse Syndicate did know about the Sailor Senshi..
. so they might have found a way to keep people with Senshi auras out
of con..."

She stopped as she sensed a disturbance slightly to the north of
where the city was. Curious, she went to examine it.

The disturbance was in a range of mountains called the Anarondaks
and she probed deeper, looking for the source...

And then, her mind was assaulted by thoughts and images so alien...
so incompatible... so... so... EVIL, was the only word she could
think of, that her connection to the psycic world was severed and the
next thing she knew, she found herself being awakened by the others,
after having collapsed on the floor of the temple.

	"Are you okay?" Makoto asked.

"Yes," Rei croaked, her throat feeling as dry as sandpaper, "I
couldn't get through to Usagi though. Someone made a barrier around
the city. People who are in the city can get out and back, but no
one from the outside can get in."

"It must have been a strong barrier to hurt you like that," Minako
said.

"No..." Rei replied as she sipped from the glass of water that Ami
had handed to her, "it wasn't the barrier. I sensed something else.
"

	"What happened?" Ami asked.

Rei was about to answer, to tell them what she had sensed, but then,
a higher power intervened.

"I..." she said as she rubbed her temples, "I... I don't remember."

Another temple, somewhere else in Japan...

The phone ringing unexpectedly made everyone jump in surprise. The
group of three women and two men... no, the group of three goddesses,
one god and one man, then registered what it was and four of them
quickly went back to eating.

"I'll get it," Belldandy said as she stood and exited the dining
room.

As the others ate, they could hear the phone ring two more times
before its fourth ring was cut off by Belldandy picking it up and
then they could hear Belldandy's side of the conversation.

"Hello? I see. I see. I see. I... understand. Yes. Yes. Good
bye."

Soon, the goddess returned to the room and took her place back at
the table. However, her seemingly eternal cheer had been replaced by
a look of... fear? "Who was it, Sis?" Urd asked, around a mouthful
of food and sake.

"It was Kami-sama," Belldandy replied, "He said it is time."

"'Time'?" the two males asked as the other Goddesses turned pale.

Once she swallowed her food, Urd exclaimed, "Aw SHIT! It's too
early! He's not supposed to return until AFTER the turn of the
century!"

"'He'?" the tallest of the group, Christopher Angel, God of Moments,
asked.

He was completely ignored as Skuld shook her head and replied to her
sister, "Don't you remember? Because of a scheduling error, he had
to come earlier this century then originally planed."

"'He'?" Chris asked again, his voice a bit more harsh then the
previous time.

This was also ignored as Belldandy said, "That does not matter.
What does matter is that we must prepare the ones who will battle him.
"

Keiichi edged back as Chris's fists balled up, then decided it might
be best to be sitting on the porch. Chris then shouted, "WILL
SOMEONE *PLEASE* TELL ME WHO 'HE' IS BEFORE I GO *INSANE*?!!!"

The Goddesses looked at each other grimly before they turned their
gaze on their brother and Belldandy said, "We thought we would have
time to better prepare you for what is to come, however, Kami-sama
and the Mah-oh have decided that is not to be."

Taking a deep breath, Belldandy continued, "When the Universe was
first created, Kami-sama and the Mah-oh came to an agreement. A
direct war between the two of them and their forces would accomplish
nothing but the destruction of the Universes they each wished to have
sway over.

"So, to find a way to decide who would rule what and when, the two
sides decided on a compromise. The Mah-oh and his minions created a
creature. A terrible monster that could drain entire planets dry of
life energy and leave them desolate dirt balls. The challenge for
our side was to find champions on the planet that the creature, named
Death Ghidora, was draining and position them to fight and defeat the
monster. If Death Ghidora won, then it would move on to the next
planet and the Mah-oh would be able to control certain planets. If
our champions won, we would keep control of the planets and Death
Ghidora would be resurrected in another galaxy sometime in the next
century.

"For the most part, we have been successful. However, the last time
the creature was brought into the Sol system..."

Belldandy paused, as if the memory was painful. "It was shortly
after the fall of the Silver Millennium. While the civilization
itself had been obliterated by Metalia, the planets themselves were
quite fertile and the few survivors on the other planets might have
been able to rebuild their separate civilizations."

Tears formed at the edges of Belldandy's eyes, "Death Ghidora never
gave them the chance."

"You said," Chris replied thoughtfully, "'the last time the creature
was brought into the Sol system'. That would mean..." the tall god
trailed off, then groaned, "Oooooh HELL."

"Death Ghidora is being resurrected on Earth," Urd finished.

	Elsewhere....

Leather wings stretched. Bloodshot eyes opened. White teeth
flashed. A birdlike cry echoed around canyons.

The Shadow Of Calamity flew off into the night.

Outside a movie theater in New York....

"You should have TOLD me!" Usagi growled as she kept her back firmly
facing Ranma.

"Are you STILL upset about that?!" Ranma shot back.

"Look," Usagi said as she turned around and faced him, "I'm glad
that you feel that you should follow through on our deal... but what
if you get stranded somewhere and need cab fare? Or what if you need
to buy dinner? I don't want you getting in trouble because of me.
Can't you wait until after you get paid again?"

Ranma replied, "No. I promised I'd do it tonight... and what kind
of man would I be if I didn't follow through on my promises."

Usagi sighed in frustration and turned her back on him again. "Oh,"
she said sarcastically, "so it's one of those 'guy things'."

"It's only a couple of days until next payday."

	No response.

Ranma sighed and reached into a duffel bag that he had by his side.
It contained his uniform from when he had to work in the restaurant
and, for tonight, a few peace offerings.

"I got you a couple of flowers."

Usagi looked over her shoulder and noticed that Ranma was holding
six assorted flowers. They were so pretty, there was even a red rose
among them, her favorite. Still, she was trying to stay angry at him..
..

	"Just flowers?"

	"You can pick the movie."

	"Whoopie."

"I've got these chocolate covered Jelly Rings, that I can sneak into
the theater with us."

Ranma blinked, and the next thing he knew, Usagi had thrown herself
at him and wrapped her arms around his chest as she exclaimed, "I can
forgive almost anything for those Jelly Rings!"

Ahead of them, someone complained, "Would you PLEASE leave me alone?
!"

"But..." the tan skinned, platinum haired woman in unusual clothing,
who was standing next to him said, "she misses you so much. You miss
your little red head too, don't you?"

The man the woman was talking to, was dressed much like Ryoga had
been, with the exception that everything was dyed purple. He looked
a lot like Troy, yet the hair was in a different style and a bit
longer.

Suddenly, a giant of a man appeared next to the woman and said, "Urd,
leave the poor guy alone. We've got work to do... as you've kept
reminding me every damn second since we arrived."

"But Bro," the woman called Urd replied as she turned to the tall
man, almost whining as she did so, "they really are miserable without
each other!"

"Which is why YOU should stay out of it."

Urd stuck her tounge out at her brother and turned back...

Only to discover that the Eternal Lost Lurker had chosen to make
like his name.

"Oh poopie," the woman called Urd muttered as she stalked off.

The big man followed her and yelled, "Hey! Wait up!"

"I wonder what that was all about," Usagi said.

Ranma shrugged and replied, "Beats me."

	Elsewhere in the city....

The three sharp gunshots, were surprisingly easy to hear as high up
as Sayaman was and he dove down to investigate. He landed on the
street and took stock of the situation.

A very frightened police officer was holding his service revolver,
smoke curling from the barrel, at what appeared to be the remains of
a dog. Sayaman was about to dismiss it as the officer having to put
down a mad dog that had been attacking him, but the situation felt
wrong for that. The officer seemed stunned by something, and the
shadows of the dog's remains seemed... wrong, somehow.

He walked closer to the officer and asked, "Are you alright?"

"A bird... it was a bird... a bird... some kind of bird..." the
officer repeated over and over, too stunned to say anything else.

Curious, Sayaman moved closer to the corpse and when it came into
the light, he felt bile trying to force its way up his throat.

What he had misidentified as the back of a dog, had been the torso
of a human body, minus the legs and head. Also, the chest had been
ripped off and several shockingly white rib bones stuck out from the
bloody red pulp that had once been a man. "Dear God," he whispered,
"What kind of... thing, would do this?"

"A bird... it was a bird... a bird... some kind of bird... a bird...
it was a bird... a bird... some kind of bird..."

	In the sky....

The Shadow of Calamity had fallen on New York City and had begun its
feast. There was much suitable prey here. As was The Prey, of
course.

It chewed and swallowed the last remains of it's previous victim and
began it's search for the next one.

There. A flash of white fur near a sewer grate. The creature The
Shadow Of Calamity had chosen was small, yet, it sensed the enormous
power radiating from it. The Shadow dove, but the creature it had
been hunting, rushed back into the sewer grate and down into the maze
below the city.

With a squawk of frustration, the Shadow Of Calamity moved on.

On a rooftop, an hour later...

Urd sighed, "Just our luck. They weren't at home, so we gotta
search the entire city. Fuck!"

"I wish," Chris said, "these rules you three briefed me on, would
let us use one of Skuld's trackers to find them."

"To borrow one of your phrases, Bro," Urd replied, "'Not bloody
likely'."

	"What are YOU doing here?"

The two deities jumped in surprise and turned around. Standing
behind them, were Sailor Pluto and Trunks, in his super form. "Hello,
" Urd said after recovering from her shock, and in an eerily polite
tone, "bitch."

"Hello," Pluto replied in the same tone, "genocidest."

Trunks looked at Chris with a, "what the hell is this about" look
and the god replied with a, "how the hell should I know" shrug.

"I'll ask again," the Senshi said, "What are you doing here?"

Urd replied, "The Shadow Of Calamity has fallen on this city."

"We both know it is far too early for that."

	"Computer error."

"Of course. Let me guess, the champions happen to be a team of
three heroes who I happen to be currently watching over."

	"Yep."

Pluto sighed, "I have always known you to be petty, Urd."

"Shut up! I didn't chose them! Me and my bro here, can only show
them what to do!"

"I find it interesting that you talk to me of not having a choice."

"YOU went ahead and saved him when we told you not to! Those lives
are on YOUR hands!"

"Do not DARE to blame me! I was willing to take any punishment...
those innocent people were not!"

	"Wasn't my decision!"

"But you suggested it to Kami-sama!"

	"I wasn't serious!"

	"He certainly thought you were!"

The two almost came to blows at that point, but the males jumped in
front of them and Trunks said, "Excuse us but..."

"... don't we have work to do?" Chris finished.

There was a moment of chilly silence and then Pluto began to walk
forward. When she was directly next to the goddess, Pluto whispered,
"Be glad that Belldandy is not here. Or I would have tried to find
out if a goddess can die by a mortals hands."

As she continued to walk by, Chris whispered to Trunks, "How come I
get the feeling that, if I ask..."

"... we'll just be told that it's a very long story," Trunks
finished, "And I've got the feeling this one's a doozy."

Chris nodded sagely and, as the two grinned a grin of shared
suffering, replied, "When this is over, I plan to set aside time for
the answer."

	"Ditto."

"Trunks," Pluto called out, "we must be going."

The Saya-jin halfling shrugged and followed the Senshi off the roof.
"Come on bro," Urd said, "we've got a lot of looking to do."

The goddess jumped away and Chris, also shrugging, followed his
sister into the maze of New York's streets.

	An hour later....

Sayaman sighed. With Usagi and Ranma out on a date, he'd been alone
in the house and, since there was nothing better to do, decided to go
on patrol. Now, he might have to find the others and fill them in on
that... butchering, he had stumbled upon.

He was certain nothing human could have done it. Plus the fact that
the police officer had continued to babble on about a bird, long
after back up and an ambulance had arrived, made Sayaman suspicious.
"Maybe it was one of those Genetiks... but why would it do something
like that?" he thought, "Could it be one that escaped and has gone
rouge?"

Suddenly, he heard a shout of terror below him and Sayaman dove
towards the source. He landed in a garbage filled alley and tried to
make out shapes in the darkness.

Two figures were locked together, one human, one obviously not.
Finally, they separated with the nonhuman form standing and something
dangling out of its mouth. Sayaman formed a pulsing ball of ki in
his right hand and threw it up in the air, to both light the alley
and get a better view of what was going on.

For the second time that night, he felt the urge to vomit, as he
looked at the creature in front of him.

The creature was a five foot high, lizard-like bird. With brown,
leathery skin, a wedge shaped crest on top of it's head, with black
eyes staring out from under the rim the crest provided, talloned feet
and a long, sharp beak that was filled with razor sharp teeth.

What made Sayaman sick however, was that, dangling from the
creatures' mouth, was an eyeball and the fleshy cord that connected
it to the brain. The creature paused to look at Sayaman for a second,
its head bobbing in a stuttering imitation of a true birds', then it
slurped up the eyeball and its cord like a spaghetti strand. The
woman that the monster had been attacking would never miss the eye,
as her throat was slashed, blood soaking her ragged clothes.

Sayaman came out of his shock and rushed the creature. However, the
wings on the monsters back unfolded to their full, ten foot, length
and the beast flapped them several times, creating a wind storm that
pushed Sayaman back. As the monster flapped, it began to shriek,
each one getting louder then the next. Sayaman felt his ears
starting to ring and then, after a buildup of three shrieks, the
monster let loose with a golden beam of pure sound from its mouth.

Sayaman was knocked into a row of garbage cans by the Sonic Beam and
the monster used the opportunity to fly off at a speed greater then
Mach One.

Sayaman was about to fly off after it, when a woman behind him said,
"Wait! You can't fight Gyaos yet!"

"Gyaos?" Sayaman asked as he turned towards the source of the voice.

A woman and a very big man, were standing at the lip of the alley,
the woman nodded and said, "The Shadow Of Calamity, Gyaos. That's
what you were looking at. You and your two team mates can't fight
him... and the evil he heralds, yet. Not until Sis can initiate the
three of you."

	"Initiate? What's going on here?!"

"Nothing much," the man said, "Just, possibly, the end of the world.
"

	"Who are you?"

"My name's Christopher Angel, God of Moments. This, is my sister,
Urd, Goddess of the Past and Love... that second one's her opinion
though."

Sayaman blinked as Urd smacked Chris in the stomach with an elbow.

"Anyway," Chris said as he recovered, "here's the Readers Digest
version of what's going to happen..."

Even the "Readers Digest version", was a long story and, after he
had explained it all to Sayaman, the sun glasses wearing hero paused
to reflect on what he had been told.

Sayaman had been growing more confident in his ki abilities lately,
and he'd discovered, if he concentrated hard enough and in the right
way, he could use his ki senses as a crude form of a lie detector.
The god and goddess, as they called themselves, weren't lying, yet,
the female one seemed... distracted by something.

Little did he know that the sum of Urd's thoughts at the moment were,
 "He's pretty cute."

	Elsewhere....

Gyaos had found another victim quickly enough and was digging in.
Blood flew as the monster used his beak to rip the chest cavity open,
loud, snapping sounds accompanying the breaking of ribs. He lowered
his head and began to feast on the humans' innards. He lifted his
head, chewing away on the liver, as he checked to see if he had been
spotted. No one saw him in the darkness of yet another alley, as he
feated on the mortal remains of another of the homeless population.

If Gyaos had a bigger brain then he did, he would have been amazed
at the pure amount of prey that he had been able to find in such
deserted areas, and how almost none of them would be missed by
society.

Gyaos bent down and used the tip of his beak to crack open the mans'
skull and get at the moist brain matter inside. Each bite made him
stronger, each victim brought The Shadow Of Calamity one step closer
to the goal that had been engineered within him since the beginning
of the current Time Cycle.

And somewhere in the Andarondaks, an even more powerful monster
slept. Dreaming of the death and destruction it would soon bring to
the world.

TO BE CONTINUED....
