BTW, someone asked if after the final nomination I won't update.
Well, I'll try to update yearly.
Now on with Volume 3

***************

K:Kleppe, Keener

Two entries in K

Gary Kleppe is the author of Lost, Pools of Horror, Cat's Prey, but most importantly is
the author of the Hearts and Minds series which has the biggest prelude in both original
and fanfiction. He is very good at evoking emotions and I also consider him as a master
of drawing the reader into a story. His works area sign of this, when he wants it depressing
then it's depressing if he wants it humorous it's humorous, his writing style is very flexible
as is his work.

Keener is the author of Suicide Blast. Though I think that is his lone work, it is a masterpiece
of evoking emotion and description. I recomment his work for beginners to study if they need
an example for an emotion fic.

L:Lurker, Loader,Lawson,Lord Archive,Lewis,Leifker

Six entries in L

The Eternal Lost Lurker is the author of Onna:Red Side, They Call Him Mr.Happy and
other fics. A proficient and flexible writer, he is skilled in evoking emotions and has
incredible skill in drawing the reader into the story as attested by Onna: Red Side. He
is also a skilled plotter as the plotting in his stories show.

Mike Loader is the author of Smoke and Mirrors and many others. He is also coauthor
of Ill Met By Starlight, which I prefer to call 'The Psycho Ranma Fic'. Skilled in dialogue
and setting the atmosphere, he is also skilled in characterization as shown to us by his
work on Ill Met By Starlight. His style is also quite flexible as attested by his work on
several dark fics and his work on the funny Nameless Sequel.

Richard Lawson is the author of Thy Inward Love, Thy Outward Part, Magic and many other
Ranma fics along with a smattering of Nuku-Nuku fics along the way. Richard is a plotter
extraordinaire as shown by his TiL and ToP series. Also he is a master of evoking emotions
and characteriztion especially in his Kodachi/Ranma fic 'Roses of the Shadow'.

Lord Archive is the author of Rejected and many other Ranma fics, genres ranging from
Dark to Original Flavor. His writing style is flexible, all of his works having both emotion
and characterization driving the story forward.

Matthew Lewis is the author of Oracle, Ice Cream and other fics. His style is similar to
Lord Archive in the fact that he draws emotions from the reader and letting us care for
the characters. I recommend both of them to beginners for analysis as to how fanfics
tick.

Nicholas Leifker is the author of the Circe Project and other works. He is the undoubted
master of evoking emotion alongside Joseph Palmer, though Nicholas is more considered
with the darker emotions. An underlying sense of sadness is inmost of his works. I
recommend his works if you really want to be depressed or as reference on evoking sadness
in a darkfic.

M:Mackinnon, Macspon,Masters

Three entries in M

Mark Mackinnon is the author of the Shadow Chronicles, a huge Ranma 1/2 saga. He is
on par with the other Ranma 1/2 saga writers as Rob Barba and Krista Perry. His works
are filled with emotion filled scenes and splendid characterization. He is also a master of
plotting as evidenced by the subplots and twists in his work.

Angus Macspon is the author of Autumn and Spring and Sailormoon 4200. His works are
filled with emotion and excellent characterization. His Autumn and Spring is a classic of
emotion and skilled plotting, another fanfic that I recommend beginning fic writers to study.

Phillip Masters is the author of many fics in my archives that tolist them all would take all
my time. His style is obviously very flexible as his works shift genres like crazed wombats.
Masterful emotions and excellent characterizations mark his work I also recommend him
to the beginners as an example for fanfic writing.

N:Neef,Nelson

Two entries in N

Brent Neef is the author of Ranma's Curse and Ranma's Memories, two of the most amazing
pieces of Ranma fanfiction I've ever read. His works are masterpieces of using emotions to
drive the story forward. Along with excellent plotting these two works are classics of Ranma
fanfiction.

Curtiss Nelson is the author of Night Sabers. It is the only excellent World of Darkness/anime
fusion I've read ( I do not count John Biles' Kodachi Elseworld since it's too goofy). Curtiss is
also a master of setting atmosphere and has an eye for detail that most fanfic writers cannot
match.

O:Olsen,Oliver

Two entries in O

Chris Olsen is the author of A Different Viewpoint. Yes, a beginner work and ,as Chris insisted,
an SI. It is nicely plotted and excellently uses characterization to forward the plot. It is one of
_the_ beginner works. I mean _the_ in the sense that it as an example of an excellent beginner's
work along with Tonbo's The Plan. Beginners are expected to take a look at this to pick up a few useful tips on writing fanfics.

Peter J. Oliver is the author of Nuke 'em till they Glow, IMHO the greatest SM spoof of all time.
Peter has an excellent hand for humor and has excellent characterization skills as proved by
several of his characters: The Atomic Starlight Knight, Arby the Arbyfish, Paracyte and Terra
Incognita. Also a master hand at plotting, he uses it to good use in creating very humorous
scenes, poking fun at various things, from SM to Monty Python.

' Writers are the torchbearers of civilization. We're set in a corner only we
can illuminate. Some of us are searchlights, able to cast a beam into the
far reaches of the human soul. Some of us are candles , barely able to
sustain a glow against the darkness. Nevertheless the words I write
are important, because light is additive. Another's light doesn't diminish
