and you start a long thread on the FFML, it will not be my fault,
because _you_ started it, and I begged you not to.  Obviously, some
questions may be "worthy" of debate.  We are all intelligent people, so
we _know_ when to take it to private e-mail, right?  And to include me
in the discussion, verdad?

consensus.  I am a member of the FFML.  I have the headache and the
bloodshot eyes to prove it. (NEVER take more than one Physics exam at a
time...you'll go insane...).  Double messages are vaguely bothersome,
but I haven't yet developed any e-mail related peeves.  I can barely
manage to smile when Marisa Price announces she's had a wonderful day,
much less actually get annoyed at anything anyone does around me.  Also,
if you have a THEORY, not an actual Answer, be sure to tell me that.

Sailor Moon
1) So, Princess Serenity killed herself because Endymion was dead.  Is
it known whether or not they got married?  

2) This is what I've heard on the live action (you heard me..live!) SM
movie.  Geena Davis is supposed to be Queen Beryl, and Melissa Joan Hart
is rumoured to be SM.  Whoever plays SM is going to need some serious
weed.  The question is does anyone else have any more info?  Consider it
a primary source question.  (After all, if such a movie ever came out,
I'm sure we'd all have fun picking it to shreds :)

3) In the manga, there are strong hints that *spoiler* Chibi-Chibi, who
turns into Sailor Cosmos, is the final reincarnation/transformation of
Sailor Moon.  First, have I got this right?  Second, are there any such
indications in the anime?  All pictures I've seen of Sailor Cosmos (who
really looks exactly like Queen Selenity, from the Moon Kingdom, except
with heart-shaped meatballs) are manga.

4) Who is, out of the five inner senshi (do NOT include Chibi-usa as
Blacklady), and the four outers, the tallest?  

Street Fighters
1) Ryu stats.  In particular, age, last/family name, status of parents,
and such.  If there is a place that describes all the characters, please
tell me.

2) Ken?  Ken Masters, right?  Other info?


What I do know about these two:  best friends, studied at the same dojo;
according to the movie I saw, Ryu has more skill, and in the game it
certainly easier to play him (though I prefer Blanca, sometimes I win
through sheer luck by pressing all the buttons at once, otherwise, I
suck bad 'cause I can never get the special moves...but I never go down
without a fight!)

3) Does this (Ryu being the better fighter) ever create conflict between
the two?  I've only seen one of the movies, I think #1, and I did see
the live version with Jean Claude van Dame, but I don't think they were
in it...am I wrong?  Naw, I can't be, I would've remembered...

4) That thing they wear around their head, is that just a martial arts
belt, or is there a name for it?  As I recall, they gave it to each
other as a symbol of their friendship.

5) Grr...who the hell is Sakura?  Where does she come in and why is she
ruining my perfect, perfect fanfic?!  Eh, don't answer that last part. 
Seriously, what's up with this girl?  (you hear all sorts of colorful
slang where I come from...though I daresay a good half of it would be
indecipherable to most of the list...)

Ranma 1/2 (hehehe)

1) What are the fuzzy areas of this series? (i.e. what can I make up?)
Example: Cause of Mrs. Tendo's death, Ranma-chan's body.
Not Example: Why Akane tries to cook so hard (b/c it has to do with her
mother.  And I quote what someone said on the list, "because Takahashi
said so."  which makes it a non-fuzzy area.)

2) a rough timeline, including character ages (I saw something that
chronicled Ranma's early years, but it didn't have later events)

3) Viz doesn't do closed captioning, does it? (personal reasons)

4) Now, I've seen Ranma and Akane's wedding pictures, or at least some
of them, of that big fiasco where everyone and their brother barged in. 
So (a) why is Akane wearing a Western style dress, as opposed to the
traditional wedding kimono that Nabiki wore in Sandborn's Nabiki New
Horizons?  (b) Is that common in Japan?  (c) Or was it just for the
purposes of the show? (a and c are likely to be very opinion laden; off
FFML, please, but (b) seems a more fact heavy one, so 'tis okay to
discuss w/ them.  Though why you would listen to me is another
question.)

5) The name of Kodachi's alligator is Midorigame-kun, which translates
into Green Turtle.  The question is whether or not it is commonly
translated into "Mr. Turtle," as I have seen one fic do, kinda like
Genma-panda is sometimes called Mr. Panda, usually by Nadoka.  The
alligator doesn't make much influence in most fics, since they focus
more on people other than the Kunos.  Yes, I know some excellent fics
that do focus on them.

6) To those who like Kodachi, the Black Rose: Why?  Logically, please. 
And to those like Jussi Nikander who love her just because, sweet, but
no cigar.  (Yes, I'll check out her church...when I have time...)  This
is not a character debate.  I just want to know why people like her.  I
know nothing about her.  If I wanted to know about Ukyou, Biles would be
the first one I'd ask.  (I'm sure somewhere in the mindless praise and
incessant adolations I'd find some useful info :)

7) Asuza's and Mikado's family life?  My understanding is that "Juzya",
as a name for Asuza's brother, was developed by Twoflower, then adopted
by others.  What does one know about them from the anime?

Nuku Nuku:
1) has it ended?  Did it end happily and resolved, or was it another
Ranma 1/2?

2) Does the mother (forget her name...starts with an "A" though) ever
show a fic-exploitable good side?  What was the occasion?

Bubblegum Crisis/Crash
1) What is the difference between the two?  Are the characters the
same?  I understand that some people prefer one over the other.  

Magic Knight Rayearth

1) Mokona...he, she, or it?  (Now, now, people, _try_ to be serious, I
saw that "Mokona is Satan" page; it was right next to the "International
Miaka Torture Chamber,")

2) Differences between MKR and MKR 2 (other than an obvious uniform
change)?

3) Ah...character names, to go with faces?  I know: Fui, Hikaru,
and...why do I want to say Daisy?  Okay, so tell me the blue-haired
girl's name.  I know Presalina (sp?), Guru Clef,  the Princess, and
that's all I can name.  

Japan In General:

1) Could I use Mikado (emperor) as a family name?  

2) Is Jimmu (the first emperor, right?, descended from the sun goddess?)
a viable personal or family name?  Or is it like Jesus to the English
(not Spanish, where it is common) and kinda weird? ('course, know a guy
named Truth, with a sister called Serenity...hey, _that_ sounds
familiar...then again, Truth had some *ahem* _mushrooms_ last week...)

3) Do Japanese ATM machines (assuming they have something like that)
look like the American version?

Foreign Language

1) Quick, quick! Russian word for Traitor (and if it makes a difference,
a female one)!

2) Does 'Saka' mean anything in Japanese?  (I sure as heck hope not...)

3) Ryo means?  (I don't think it's the same as Ryu...right?)

The Rest of the World:

1) I need to know how a stereotypical person from these backgrounds
speak:
	Austrailian
	Irish (very important!  Must get that pattern right, or I'm liable to
confuse it with ST's Scotty.)
	Egyptian
	British (now, there's a good chap! :)

Chem Question!

1) I know that when you put certain compounds, like say, Lithium, into a
fire, the fire changes color, because it's a different reaction.  So
what I need to know, is what compound would change the flame to green or
blue or black (or maybe the last is just in Hollywood; see Hocus Pocus).

Biology Question!

1)  This is one about twins, and gestation, I believe it's called, the
development of the fetus.  Twins are, in the vast majority of cases, two
biologically separate individuals.  I need to know at what point in the
development of the little ball of cells (don't know what I'm talking
about, you probably shouldn't try to answer this question), do they
separate?  I'm looking, more specifically, at the time period.  Two
months?  One?  NOT when you can SEE two different entities, and tell the
happy mommy, you're going to have two!, since such techniques require
more advanced development on the part of the fetus than what I'm
asking.  Just when do they split to become two different little people?

2)  Now, could someone explain fraternal twins to me?  That whole
concept just boggles my mind....I barely even want to think about it.

2) Where is 'Marmalade Moon' found?  I see responses, I see Msts, I see

Miscellaneous

1) This is for anyone who appreciates the feminine form.  A
description,  please, of the most beautiful woman in the world.  NOT
REAL.  Someone out of your own imagination.  As much detail as possible
is good, but I draw the line at what's under a bikini.  There's only so
much of the male psyche that a girl can handle, ya know?  I reserve the
right to use it, with appropriate crediting, of course.  I just have a
hard time describing pretty women...sexy guys are so much easier.

2) THINK question:  There is one rule for this question, and that is
that you think about it.  Do NOT discuss it.  Just think about it,
quietly, all to yourselves:
	Do anime/manga characters have souls?
