I think the problem is, I don't hold animosity toward *any* real
character in any of my fics. I might not like a villain, but I try to
give them some style. As for characters from the series the fic is based
on, well, I'd rather leave an unliked-character out. As for original
characters, well, I haven't created someone equal in their vileness to
Nakago ... yet. ^_^

Maybe Ryoucilo could re-phrase the challenge? 

Though I did have this idea for dealing with the last 3 challenges all
in one:

Kate Madigan discovers an old flame, the only man who ever proposed to
her (she turned him down to go work at Genom but she did love
him--some--once) has been murdered, thus motivating her to investigate
the crime and avenge his death.

Pity I'm not a big BGC junkie who remembers all the characters.
