Ranma/OMG chapter 7?
 	Of  Mothers, Fathers, Fiancees, and Other Such Chaos.
 
 	It had been a month since Ranma had left the Dojo with his new mother Urd.
Now, Kami-sama had decided that before Ranma could fulfill his role as a
god/goddess, he would have to start tying up loose ends and that meant he had
to return to Nerima.  Besides, if he were is be absence any longer, people
would start to worry, mainly his fiancees. 
 
Tendou Dojo
 
 	Nabiki was still in shock over the amount of money in front of her.  Had the
bills in front of her been yen it would only be a slight suprise, but the
denominations were in American dollars.  There was enough money here to put
all three of the Tendou girls through any Japanese university of their choosing.
The only problem bothering Nabiki on this joyous occasion was WHERE IN THE
#$%#% DID RANMA GET THIS  KIND OF MONEY???.  Until she saw Ranma again, the
only thing she could do with all this kind of money was roll around in it.
 
 	Akane was nervous.  Earlier, when she had first noticed a letter from Ranma
lying on her bed, she had dreaded the possibility of Ranma leaving her.  After
their last fight, they had separated on uneasy terms.  Her dread was soon
replaced with elation after she had finished the letter.   Smiling for the
first time in almost a week Akane picked up the bracers from off the bed and
slipped them on.  Almost giddy with happiness, The youngest Tendou daughter
skipped down the stairs.  Today Ranma was coming home.
 
 	Kasumi smiled happily as she prepared dinner for the family.  She had gotten
a call  only the day before, saying Ranma would return before the sun had set
the next evening.  Looking outside, Kasumi noticed the sky getting a little
darker.  It was any time now.
 
 	Nodoka was playing a game of shoji with her husband, while  Soun watched
from the sidelines. The topic of discussion all week long had been mainly
Ranma and why he had left.  So far they had not reached a possible answer
although the possibility of Ranma eloping with one of his other Fiancees had
come up numerous times, all being struck down by Nodoka.  Having only recently
been reunited with Ranma, the one thing she was positive was that Ranma was
honorable.  With everyone busy cooking, arguing or rolling around in money,
they failed to notice the strange light emulating from the koi pond.
 
 	As the light from the pond intensify, a very familiar head slowly rose
followed by his body clad in a red shirt and black pants.  "Hi everybody.  I'm
back, ya miss me?"
 
 	The entire family came trampling out of the house when they heard Ranma's
voice.  Very soon though, they came to an abrupt halt, except for Genma, when
they saw where Ranma was standing.  "Boy, where have you been?  You'd better
have a good explanation."  It wasn't until he had finished his tirade that he
noticed Ranma was floating a full foot above the pond.

      "Ranma!!" Akane shouted as shook out of her daze.  She was so happy to
see Ranma.  She had been really miserable for the past week since he had left.
In that time, she finally admitted her feelings for Ranma to herself.  "Was
this why you left? To learn a new ki technique?"  

      The entire family nodding their heads as if Akane had asked the same
question on everyone's mind.

      After talking with Kami about tying up loose ends.  He had sat down with
Urd, Belldandy, Skuld and Keiichi to discuss how he was suppose to approach
this problem which had plagued him for over a year.  They decided that telling
his family outright that he had a new mother, that she is a god and that he
was a god was not a good idea.  Ranma was impressed that for the first time in
his life, he had sat down to think something through instead of charging in.
"You could say that.   I learned this, and other techniques as well."  In a way
that was the truth.  He had been learning how to use his new found powers.
Kami frowned upon Gods and Goddess who lied.  "I also got a new job."  

      "A new job?  Is that where you got the money from Ranma?"  Nabiki asked.

      "Son how could you have attain a job if you haven't finished High School
or College yet?" Nodoka asked.

       "No it isn't how I got the money Nabiki.  Try checking the major illegal fights from time to time.  On the job it had certain qualifications that only I could fulfill."

      "Ranma, we are happy that you are back."  Soun exclaimed.  Now there was
still a chance to unite the Saotomes and Tendous.

      "You make your father proud Ranma.  Learning a new technique like that.
Even Happosai doesn't know a technique like that."  Genma and Soun began
crying.

      "I came back ta tie up some loose ends before I headed off to my new
job." Ranma explained.  

       Akane was a little shaken after Ranma had said that.  She might be
losing Ranma again.  Running and latching on to Ranma, she cried in his
shoulders.  "Don't leave me again, Ranma."  She couldn't take it anymore.
Ever since Ranma arrived, he had added excitement to her life.  After he
disappeared, life was still exciting for a least a week.  Soon, Shampoo left
to look for Ranma, Moose had followed, Ukyou stayed and waited for his return,
Ryoga was lost and Nerima had become the peaceful town it once was before
Ranma came.  In that time, she finally admitted to herself that she did care
for Ranma and without him in her life, she would feel incomplete.  

      The look of surprised on Ranma's face was shared by everyone
else, that was everyone but Kasumi.  For a time now, she had known Akane's
heart.

      Looking down at the sobbing girl who was trying to crush him, "Who said
I was leaving?  I just said I had a new job, a new obligations."  Leaning to
whisper in Akane's ear, "You are such a tomboy, but you are my tomboy.  So
stop crying and crushing me to death."  

     Hearing Ranma called her a tomboy, Akane started to get angry then
hearing the rest of the sentence she calmed down.  Only then did she realized
what she had done and in front of the family as well.  Pulling her head from
Ranma's shoulder, she could see Soun and Genma hopping for joy, Nabiki with a
thumbs up, and Kasumi and Nodoka with smiles on their faces.  Akane was still
blushing when Ranma lifted her down and settled on the ground himself.

     "I have to go, but I'll be back in a few hours."  With that Ranma jumped
the wall and sprinted out of sight.

      Later that night, the tension inside the Training Hall could have
created diamonds.  A company of people were there.  There was Shampoo, Mousse,
Cologne, Ukyou, Ryoga, Kuno, Kodachi, Akane, Nabiki, Soun, Genma, Nodoka and
Kasumi.  They were all called here by Ranma for some inportant news.  There
were so many questions that they wanted to ask, such as where he was for the
pass month.  The mutters and arguments died down as Ranma walked in.  Suddenly
there was an uproar as they company saw who followed him.  There were Three
lovely ladies following him.

      Akane was barely able to control her anger.  After a month, she wanted
to see him more than punt him into space, just barely though.  Shampoo,
Cologne, Ukyou, Ryoga and Kodachi were mad.  Mousse, Kunou and Ryoga were
happy.  

       "I have an annoucement I have to make.  For over a year now, I've had to
deal with my fiancee problems as well as other things.  I've recently gotten a
job and will be leaving Nerima."

       The entire gang would have rushed Ranma had not the three mysterious
women been in the way.

      "Before I leave though, I want to tie up all loose ends.  That also
includes the engagement problems."

      The look of hope could be seen on all the girls'.  Anger could be seen on
the mens'.

      Seemingly from thin air, Ranma produced a small black box that drew
gasps from the who attending parties.  Walking toward the girls, Ranma
suddenly dropped to one knee in front of Akane.  "Akane, will you marry me?"

      When Akane said yes, choas ensued.  Shampoo had her Lion Sword out
trying to slash at Akane but hit an invisible barrier.  The same went for Ryoga and
Kuno as the lunged for Ranma.  Uykou just sat there, shock clearly written on her face.  

      "NO ONE HURTS MY SON!!!"

      Everyone stopped when they heard the shout.  

      Looking toward one of the strange women, they noticed that she was now floating a full two feet off the floor, lightning crackling around her body.

	Heedless to what was happenening Shampoo sneared  "Stupid old lady, that is 
Ranma's mother"   pointing to Nodoka. Shampoo tried to strike Akane again but found 
she couldn't move  She and everyone else were surrounded by a shimmer bubble of force.A thin smile crept on to Ranma's face as he heard Shampoo's outburst.  "No she isn't.  She was my
surrogate mother.  Urd is my real mom, and and had to give me up.  In a way both of them are my 
mother.  Urd by blood, and Nodoka is to o a degree, besides that grampa would have a fit if he knew she 
wasn't keeping tabs on me."  Grinning at his aunts, "Why do you think she was so distracted all the time."  
The mirth left Ranma's voice as he turned back to the crowd. His voice suddenly changing taking on an 
unearthly authoratative tone not entirely his own, and the marks on Ranma's face started glowing faintly,   
"Cologne for over a year now your grand-daughter has pursued me.  She has used potions, magic, drugs, 
and threats to try and coerse me to marry her.  I ask you to take her back to China, and find a more
willing husband.  Marriage is sacred bond.  One that should be forged in love, and not forced as Shampoo 
has tried to do.  In the past your people have ruined the lives of many.  Destroying families by killing 
mothers who dared to stand against you,  or taking fathers from their families as husbands of your 
children.  I made my choice.  I'm marrying Akane."

	The reactions around the room varied.  Cologne stood at the rear watching the seen unfold 
Nabiki smirked as she had known Ranma's feeling for Akane for some time.  Kasumi smiled happily, her 
sister was getting married.  Genma and Soun to caught up in their happy dance at Ranma's proposal to 
Akane didn't hear what was said after she had accepted.  Nodoka was in shock at the words coming from 
her sons mouth.  The rivals were all frothing in anger.  Save for Shampoo who had broken down crying 
and Mousse, who had moved to support his love.   The other rivals, Kodachi, Ukyo, Ryouga, 
and Kuno, the four remaining rivals finally broke free of the field restraining them and surged foward like a wave toward Ranma and Akane headless of the three women in the way.  

	Ukyo was the first to reach the trio, as she pulled her battle spatula off her back she was thrown chrashing into the back wall of the dojo by a blast of lightning.  and the Tatewaki lashed out with his boken tearing a long gash in skuldface before  being crushed by twin hammer blows  The first crashing down on his head while the second less than a milliscend later came up from underneath crushing the boken shandle, and insidentaly the hands that held them.  Kodachi was sent flying through the closed doors of the dojo into the yard.  All this time Ranma dodged and weaved around Ryouga's blows, until the enraged matial-artist stuckout in a blind rage at the thing nearest to him.  Unfortunately it happened to be a scowling Urd.  

	As Urd crumpled to the floor, a flame erupted from the floor behind the fanged boy. 
Faster than the eye could see, a figure emerged from the pillar of fire lashing out with a whip yanking Ryouga to his knees.  Unfortunately as Ryouga fell Ranma started to react.  The actions of his friends had stunned him, and only now could he react.   His fist stopping short when he saw  who had come to his aid.  
Standing behind Ryouga stood a stunningh woman, clas almost entirely in black leather.  "Well aren't 
you going to say thank Auntie Mara?"
