<spoilers regarding the fics "A Stained Glass Mind" and "Project
NK-Ranma">









Hmm, interesting idea.  Kinda reminiscent of... "A Stained Glass Mind" by
Anand Rao and "Project NK-Ranma" by Celeste Byrd.  Especially Project
NK-Ranma in the Neko respect.  In NK, there's no difference between
Ranma-kun and Ranma-chan, but Ranma's neko personality is sentient.  Umm,
go read it if you want to find out how close it is to yours.  "A Stained
Glass Mind" is along the same track as your fic when it comes to multiple
personalities, but the Ranma in ASGM suffers from MPD.  Again, read it if
you wanna.  They're both really great fics, IMO.  

It's an interesting idea to think about Ranma's other personas, if you
choose to call them that.  The Ranma-chan persona existing I can
understand.  It doesn't really fit into the canon (or does it?), but it's
within the realm of possibilities.  The Neko persona will be much harder
to substantiate.  Questions are bound to come up.  "If the Neko
personality can communicate coherently, why doesn't it do so when it's
taken over Ranma's body?"  "Why aren't the other human personas scared of
it?  Unless somethings been done to take away Ranma's... fear of cats
(bleh, I'm not even gonna TRY to spell it), you'd kinda expect the two
human personas to be deathly afraid of Neko."  

Anyway, a good start, but hopefully you'll clear up a whole bunch of
stuff.  It might be a good idea to tell us when this is happening.  Is it
a few days after Ranma's gotten to Nerima, or has he been here for a
while now?  Since you said that "Ranko" has only come out once before, I
was assuming Ranma had just jumped into the pool fairly recently.  But
then at the end you mention Nabiki.  Hmm, weird.  Also, Ranma doesn't go
Neko until a while into the series, so there's a few inconsistencies I'm
finding.  It's fine if you choose to diverge from the canon, but unless
you provide a strong background to replace it, I'll always refer back to
the canon.  Err, not to discourage you, though.  I think you should
continue it.  I like the idea a lot, and I really just want this fic to
be the best it can be.  Ganbatte ne!
