I like it. Go for it I say! It is funny and sounds enjoyable. I thnk you
are right the general characters would work.

BTW, I hadn't considered working in the Jusenkyo curse, but let's say 
that while on the Grand Tour in France, Mr. Saotome happened upon the 
Vallee des Sources Maudites...
