Before you kill me, no, this has nothing do to with pronouns. ^_^
There are a few things I'm sorta unsure of regarding one of
my current projects. It's written in a first-person perspective
by Ranma; that might not sound like a problem - but the keyword
is *WRITTEN*, as opposed to *told*.
I very much want to use "sloppy" language ("I was goin' ta'
leave,") but there are two problems with that. Firstly, perhaps
most importantly, reading that during an entire fic could get
old pretty quick, and secondly, well, as I said, it's in writing,
and supposedly also proofread, so it might not be believable for
it to get there in the first place.
Opinions?
Nevermind that normally, Ranma wouldn't be writing at all;
I don't want to spoil anything just yet by bringing up why.
For clarification, this is going to be "Shadows on the Wall",
a tale of lovecraftian cosmic horror in the ranmaverse.
