Well, as long as we're bouncing Ideas around... 
Here's just a quick little question, (maybe a spamfic challenge, if anyone
feels so inclined /inspired /annoyed at me/ or whatever, and decides to run
with it...)

	SI stories are rather common, a rather well known fact. Some are good, some
are bad, and most stick to one series, and maybe even just to the core events
of said series.

	My question is, are there any authors adventurous enough to have tried
stories where a SI character (or a regular character, for that matter) has
been dropped in a fusion world?  (As opposed to a mere x-over, where most
characters tend to remain fairly true to form.)
	In particular, stories where the inserted character is not expecting the
fusion elements, and originally attempts to behave in a manner normal to
either original source, but is forced into situations he's not prepared for.  
	I know some Ranma (and SMoon) stories have dealt with a similar approach,
where a 'standard' character is dropped in a parallel Ranmaverse(/S.Moon
universe), and has to deal with events unfolding strangely for him.  Matter of
fact, there seems to be a couple floating about in the list right now, but
with the list seeming to occasionally kick me out, I've yet to get caught up
with everything.  (I hope it was not because of something I asked or commented
on, as it seemed that I got cut out within a few days of my sending a few
responses.  Oh well, I'll see what happens to me this time.) 

	On any case, I do not recall too many 'insert' pieces like this, for anything
other than Ranma or S. Moon, although similar ideas have been mentioned before
on the list.
