OK. First off, this was a re-run from earlier in the season. Secondly, this episode was co-written by William Gibson IMHO the best cyberpunk author out there. IIRC Gibson started writing cyberpunk before BGC was even an idea in the creators mind. So, if anything BGC "stole" from Gibson, but I won't go into that because everyone knows there are no new ideas, just new ways of presenting them.
