It was glowing.  A look of horror passed over her face as she looked
between the ring and Ranma.  She fell to her knees in shock.
	Ranma jetted to her side before either of them could blink.
	"Akane, what's wrong."  Akane grabbed him by the head and kissed him
forcefully on the lips.  When she released him he was shocked.  "What
was THAT for?"
	"Ranma... I love you."
	"Akane? What's going on... what are yo-"  The ring released a pulse of
light, and Ranma Saotome was gone.

Why am I not surprised that Akane makes this particular wish?

	Akane looked around the Tendo garden.  Ranma wasn't there.  She felt
behind her neck.  At the long hair that was there once again.  Akane
wrapped her arms around herself and began to cry.
	"Ranma, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it..."

  How can Akane still remember him?  After all, she has never met Ranma.
