Well, since Lurker went on a major site update, I of course,

Ooh, cheap shot.

But now you can listen to my music while you read the
fic...assuming you can handle frames and midi.

Gah... <choke, sputter>

Frames?!?!?

Midi?!?!?

ACK!!!!!!

I quite agree. A page that would probably take 10 seconds to load is now
going to take 3 hours and 37 minutes....

In this world of multiple browsers and version compatibility problems,
keeping your web page simple and quick to download is of primary concern.
Consider removing the frames and music. Trust me, people will like your
page better without them.

The Ye Olde "This page only works with Internet Explorer browsers when
there's a blue moon on the 13th of the month and Aquarius is ascendant,
otherwise it only works with Internet Explorer because I'm using a
Microsoft web page generator that puts in non-standard Microsoft
propriatary codes that none of the other browsers can read (another example
of Micro$oft trying to take over the internet) instead of learning HTML
myself or using one of many non-Microsoft generators that can do the same
effects using standardized, non-propriatary coding, so there, NYAH!!!!"
Problem?

Or maybe make them optional -- a frames version and a non-frames version. a
musical version and a non-musical version. Of course, that would require 4
different versions of the same page + an entry page where the visitor gets
to pick which version they want.

Advice to everyone.
