I could've sworn KOC started 1992 or so, because DnR definitely
started in 1993 or so, and I'm fairly sure there were six episodes
of KOC out at the time.
Hmm...probably late '92 then. Back then, I was stamping
out episodes roughly 1 per 6weeks. That'd put 6 episodes
about early to mid '93.
I can't confirm this. I've changed computers since and no longer
have access to the old file timestamps, and all the fanfic
archives have changed since as well (back then, it was the
wpi.wpi.edu site).
We did some revisions to DnR in summer of 1996, though. Mostly
because the Ranma manga ended then.
Similar to what we're doing now I suppose. Mostly it's motivated
to cleaning up old scripts, cultural ignorance (when I wrote them
the 1st time), and the fact that they're being translated into Japanese
now.
But for continuation series in fanfic, KOC is pretty much the
granddaddy.
Yes. However, DnR has certainly kept the tradition almost
as long and about as well.
