Ring Of Toltiir 5a
NOTES ON A SERIES THAT HAS GONE LONGER THAN I INTENDED:

 NOTES: this was originally just a desire to see some
slapstick sort of fanfic, no Great Ideas (like Heart 
of Ice by Krista Perry), or Major Angst (like Zen's
Bitter End), or even Exquisite Character Development
(like some of Lawson's stuff). If you've read these
and gotten a couple of laughs out of the series, i
thank you and consider that the story has accomplished
its major purpose. i've got entirely too much angst
in my life for me to enjoy writing a darkfic.)
 THE WANDERERS: the characters with the Cursed Animayhem
Deck are typical insert characters. Not the author
but for completeness sake i stuck an author in there.
If Zen is out of character, my apologies. If Zen changes
his mind and wants me to take character out, you've got
my e-mail address. More details on the deck are
available, which has a lot more series than the
REAL deck. Yes, it is a CURSED deck. The only way to
return home is to draw EVERY card in the deck. If I do
more of the series, it will end up with the "leftover"
characters from several series joining up with the
group as they try to find a place for themselves in the
multiverse.)
 CURSED ANIMAYHEM CARDS:
	a very strange version of the "Deck Of
Many Things"<tm>
  SERIES IN THE REAL DECK: Dominion Tank Police, El-
Hazard, Dragonball, Armitage III, Project A-ko,
Ranma 1/2, Bubblegum Crisis, Tenchi Muyo, Phantom
Quest, Oh My Goddess (limited)
  SERIES IN THE CURSED DECK: Anime Limited Series
(Megami Paradise, Dragon Century, Detonator Orgun,
Sabre Marionette J), Ah My Goddess Expansion Pack,
Prefectural Catgirl NukuNuku, Irresponsible Captain
Tylor, Poltergeist Report, Slayers, Sailor Moon,
Record Of Lodoss Wars, Evangelion, 3x3 Eyes, Urusei
Yatsura, Battle Angel Alita/Gally, Lupin III/Rupan,
Hokuto No Ken, Legend Of Heavenly Sphere Shurato,
Saint Saeya, Sonic Soldier Borgman, and Maison Ikkoku.
     effects:
  LOCATION CARDS: teleport to appropriate site, can do
extradimensional and interstellar teleports.
    for example: Shades sneaks a Location card into
Ryouga's pack during Ring Of Toltiir 4. The card is
Asgard from Oh My Goddess, Ryouga's really lost at this
juncture.
  CHARACTER CARDS: transform drawer into exact duplicate
of the pictured individual. Sometimes summon said 
individual instead, and is permanent. Even Juusenkyo
can't change the results in some cases.
     for example: Zen drew a Future Trunks card prior
to Ring Of Toltiir 1. Down to a genetic level, he is
(in the story) a saiyajin hybrid who looks like Trunks.
He is going to have serious problems when he runs into
Sailor Jupiter.(Providing i do that story.)
  DISASTER CARDS: Summon the disaster, which lasts 
until defeated or dispelled.
  ITEM/EQUIPMENT: Summons the item shown. Some items
or equipment disintegrates after a few uses.
  ENHANCEMENT/FLASH CARDS: Summon the effect described, but
fade away after a single use.
  ATTACK CARDS: A single effect occurs then fades.

these cards are responsible for the Wanderers in 
 the Wishcraft series of fanfics i'm writing, the first
 one of which is Ring Of Toltiir. Will I write more?
 only if i get favorable C&C. we'll see, won't we?
 in the meantime feel free to horrify your RIFTS, AD&D,
 or other players with this or use it in your own 
 fanfics.
Oh Yeah: The Ring Of Toltiir: no, that isn't Toltiir who's doing the speaking.
    FYI: Her name is Jessica Hartman, and she's one of several missing from
the Roanoke "Lost Colony"....yes, as a matter of fact, there IS a story
concept
there. don't know if i'll write it.
