There's also the [EVA][R1/2][AMS] crossover A BETTER FUTURE
by James Lee.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's "Alternate Future" by
James Lee.  And it's not really an AMS x-over; I'd say it's more an
Eva/Ranma x-over with an AMS guest appearance.  But who
knows what'll happen in future chapters...  Are we going to be
seeing more of that James-san?

The story I'm thinking of is A BETTER FUTURE - but there is another 
R1/2 - EVA crossover out there as well that you may be thinking of.
