Some time ago, someone challenged this ML group to come up with a mystery
genre story mixed in with Anime. Wweeeellll...I couldn't come up with
stories, but I did come up with a bunch of ideas. I don't have time to write
them for now, but anyway, here's my ideas...
1) "The Cabbit That Knew a Darling." (Tenchi and Ryo-oh-ki investigate the
murder of Lum. Needless to say, Ataru is partying like it's 1999...)
2) "Nabiki Tendo and The Case of the Missing Yen." (The Kuno's family
wealth--and their manservant Sasuke-- has been stolen, and Nabiki is the
prime suspect. Go figure...)
3) "The Three Goddesses and the Mystery of the Golden Hammer." (Belldandy,
Urd, & Skuld --who's motto is, "We Meddle with Anything" -- find out that
the three Tendo Girls -- Kasumi, Nabiki, & Akane respectively -- have linked
up their souls together when they all recieve a golden hammer. However, not
even Kami-sama knows what the hammers are for or who sent them to the
Tendos. So much for being "all-knowing"...)
4) "Encyclopedia Brown and the Case of the Cursed Spring." (Take everyone's
most famous boy detective in sneakers, add in a Juskenyo curse, and watch
the sparks fly as one of Wilford Wiggin's scams does come true...or does it?
Ranma, Shampoo, Mousse, Ryouga, and Akane are the "special guests." Aren't
you getting annoyed with my dots...)
5) "Who framed Modoka?" (Where in Anime-ville, the most famous exotic animal
("Pu!") is framed for murder. Unfortunately, the Magic Rayearth Knight
girls have the Lovely Angels as detectives. LOTS of Cameos. LOTS of
destruction...)
6) "Anime Clue." (Oh, I guess any anime series would do, but I prefer a
cross-over look. Heck I'd always wanted to say that it was Washu with the
wrench in the Study. Probably the best "Mr. Boddy" would be an anime
creator, say Rumiko Takahashi?)
BTW, I'm aware that the last suggestion has been done before, but not like
this. Enjoy.
