Has everyone checked RAAC today? There is a post from Lizard
<lizard@mrlizard.com> entitled "[Info] FanFic Writers Mailing List"
where it appears that Lizard is forming a new ML devoted to
discussing issues in fanfic writing, and C&C of fics. My
impression is that this proposed ML is very close to the stated
purpose of the FFML.
Not quite... 1. The other FFML is apparently dedicated to
discussion of fanfiction, not posting of fanfiction...in other
words, discussion of writing methods, and so forth.
Maybe I'm just being picky here, but I think we should call that other
list the "FWML" or "FFWML" to avoid any confusion with the FFML.
Anyways, it was my impression that the FWML is for discussions about
fanfic writing itself (with fanfics to be posted only if it shows some
point), compared to the FFML which is mainly for posting fanfics and
receiving C&C on them.
