H'lo,

This is my first post to the mailing list, so if I make any faux pas (Or the plural of faux pas, which I haven't a clue how to spell), gomen nasai! I've been writing this fanfic since April of 1997, and as I know a few to this mailing list have seen, it's far from over, and still needs tons of work. But, biting the bullet, I decided to send in a part of what I have finished, and fret and worry and...you get the idea. Oh, before I forget...the stuff that won't get me sued...

All characters and concepts portrayed in this story (Pertaining to the on-camera actions of the actors and actresses such as in Belldandy and Keiichi and plots therein) are copyrighted by Kosuke Fujishima. The off-camera concepts and characters (Like Mika, Topper, and such) are copyrighted by b. b. brittain (Turtyl@mindspring.com), 1998. All rights reserved.

I always think I screw that paragraph up...just don't sue me, k? I'm poor, and don't have enough money as it is! ^_^; But anyways, a little background. This isn't really a self-insertion fanfic, but I have been told by one or two people that it could be considered one. But it's up to you whether to think of it as such. Oh, also any C&C/MST/etc. would be greatly appreciated, on the mailing list or at bbbrittain@mindspring.com . I /think/ I've covered ev'thing. If not, someone yell at me (Lina Inverse, this goes double for you! ^_^). Without further ado then, here's 'Stepping Into Keiichi'!

** Prelude **

Patrick Thompson slammed the door to his room, and made his
way to his bed. He flung himself upon it and let go a long sigh,
looking out the window. /I thought summer was supposed to be
relaxing?/ he thought, as his mind drifted back to think about
the past few weeks.

It was only about three weeks ago that he returned home to
Oregon. Summer break for him started, and rather than spending
the summer with friends in Seattle where he was going to school,
he decided to return home. He figured...it would save on the
phone bills of his parents yelling at him.

He knew his grades were low...but not that low. It wasn't
something that he particularly cared about, but...his parents
did, and returning home confirmed that thought. True, it was
ridiculous to ground someone who left for college some 9 months
prior, but...there he was, in his room in Salem.

It wasn't a grounding, per se. But without the use of his
parents cars and their home being approximately five miles from
the closest town, grounding was the most appropriate term to use.
At least, he had a television.

While he was at college, Patrick decided to find something
to take his mind off things between classes and studying.
Looking through the club listings, he noticed there was an anime
club. While he didn't know that much about anime other than old
shows like Voltron and Speed Racer of yesteryear, he decided to
attend a meeting. He was decidedly hooked on the club after said
meeting, and became a member.

Patrick watched more and more over the school year, and
collected some tapes of anime that he had recorded from friends
tapes. He decided before he left, that he would be more active
in the clubs' activities in the fall. Well, if he wasn't killed
by his parents beforehand, for the grades he received.

As soon as he stepped foot inside his parents home, they
started their yellings. 'How could you let your grades slip like
this?' 'Do you know how much money we spent for that college?'
'We trusted you...and you show us this??' It didn't stop through
dinner, when he went into his room.

His bags were still unpacked, just quickly thrown in before
more yellings started in on him. Patrick couldn't blame his
parents, really. He understood: he screwed up. But still...he
unzipped his bags, and started to put his clothes away. As he
pulled open his last bag, he took out some video cassettes. It
was a few copies of tapes he procured of anime, during the last
semester.

Upon one tape was his Ah! My Goddess OVA collection that he
managed to get, right before he left for home. 'You borrow it
enough times, I thought you might like a copy, before going home
to the boonies', his friend said. He smiled wanly at the
thought, as his mind returned to the present.

With that reverie still in mind, walked over to his VCR and
popped the tape in. The credits started as he slid onto his bed,
and leaned back into his pillows. /Belldandy...if she were only
real.../ he mused, as she appeared on the screen, the theme song
starting up. It was then his phone rang, and he pushed pause on
the remote control before reaching over to his nightstand to pick
up the phone.

"Hello?" he said, his voice slightly deep.

"Topper Thompson, how would you like to go out to the
hottest party of the summer?" the voice said. He raised his
eyebrows slightly; not many people in college knew his nickname.
That was mainly because, other than the Anime club, he wasn't
what one could say sociable to others on campus. But after the
first few words, he realized who it was on the other side of the
line.

"Oh, hey Jake. Hey, I'd love to, but...I'm still grounded."
he said, his tone turning sour.

The old high school friend of Topper on the other side of
the line started to laugh, which made Topper frown slightly.
"Aww, poor college boy still grounded by his parentals?" Jake
said, in the baby-thick voice usually reserved for parental abuse
cases like this. He really hated that voice.

"Well, they took one look at my grades, and..." he let the
sentence go.

"Hey, well...I can understand. My parentals aren't the best
either, so...well, when they _finally_ let you go, gimme a ring,
k? Ciao for now, Top-man." Jake hung up the phone, as did
Topper.

Topper depressed the play button, and the scene on the
television came to life once more. He layed back into his
pillows again, putting his hands behind his head. /Well/, he
thought, /at least it couldn't get worse.../

Outside, the clouds that were crossing the June sky started
to darken. The rumbling of thunder loomed, and as night came, so
did the rains...

Stepping into Keiichi
An Ah! My Goddess FanFiction Story

* Chapter 1 *

The winds outside his parents home picked up, as the credits
began to flicker for the fifth OAV. Topper glanced outside his
window to see a definite downpour of rain. He sighed softly,
turning his attention back to the television. /I hope Jake's
having fun, at least/, Topper thought sourly, as Keiichi
scrambled about town on the TV screen, trying to buy his ring for
Belldandy.

His mind wandered a bit, letting himself get caught within
the moment displayed, when the power went out. It was a common
occurrence in the area his parents lived in, power going out
during storms such as the one outside his bedroom. That was one
of the major drawbacks living in the 'suburbs' of rural areas.
His parents didn't seem to mind that though, seeing it was so
very cheap to live there.

"Damn it to the seven hells..." he cursed under his breath
as he sat up, and swung his legs to the side of the bed. As he
stood up, he started for the door, and subsequently hit his knee
on his nightstand. Another string of curses lined his lips, as
he picked up his phone, which had fallen to the ground. The
numbers on the receiver still lit up, indicating it still had
power. He stood as he put the receiver back on its hanger.

Moving towards the door, Topper put his phone on his bureau.
He slowly made his way to the door, pawing his hands in front of
him, shortly finding the doorknob. He turned it and glanced out
into the hallway.

The hallway was darkened, and he heard his parents in the
living room, muttering similar curses about the power. He
sighed, and closed his door quietly. /Great...what do I do now?/
he thought.

His mind drifted again, and he thought of the party that
Jake mentioned. As the gears started to turn in his head, he
pawed his way back to his bed, and sat down. /Well...I could
sneak out...if Jake picked me up. It's better than sitting in
the damn dark all night.../

Resolved of the decision, he looked outside again, and
noticed the rain let up a little, though the clouds loomed
overhead. /The storm might be subsiding.../ he thought, as he
reached over towards his phone. He didn't find it where he
usually put it, and started to lean over to paw the rest of the
nightstand. He blinked in realization as he remembered it was on
the bureau and started to stand, but suddenly he lost his
balance, and started to fall.

Topper's body pitched forward, and his head smacked the edge
of the bureau. Gritting his teeth and stifling a yelp he rubbed
his head furiously, trying to make the pain go away. /Damn it
damn it damn it.../ he thought to himself, as his other hand
grappled for the phone. He pulled the phone down to the floor
where he was, as the pain finally started to subside.

When Topper picked up the receiver, lights started to flash
all around him. At first, the thought of lightening passed
through his mind, but as the lights stayed on, he nodded slowly
to himself. He sighed slightly, and started to set the phone
back down. /At least it was only a brownout this time.../ he
thought.

But as he looked around expecting to see his own
room...Topper realized what his eyes told him was anything but.
Instead of his bureau in front of him, there was a small table.
A bookcase was to the right of him as he turned his head right
slightly, and as he turned back, he noticed a kitchen set to the
left. The door outside was to the far left, and straight ahead
was what appeared to be a closet.

The room itself was swathed in a neutral beige colour,
nothing like the cool blue of his own room. And he didn't see a
bed in sight, though it felt distinctly like a bedroom.
Bewildered, he turned around fully to see what was behind him.
He saw a mirror, but the woman presently appearing through the
mirror was what he was momentarily concentrating on.

Topper locked his gaze briefly upon the young woman. The
eyes were the most marvelous shade of light blue-green he had
ever seen. Her face was almond shaped, strands of dishwater
blonde hair cascading down the sides. Beside her eyes were two
triangles of azure blue, a slender diamond of the same colour
upon the center of her forehead. She seemed familiar...

What really snapped Topper out of the gaze however was the
mirror. She was coming out of it, and of course, that made no
sense to him whatsoever. In such fashion, he started to back
away. He stumbled over the table, his mouth and eyes growing
wider as he moved. He kept moving away at a fast crawl, slowly
scrambling to his feet. He looked back as the woman slipped
fully out of the mirror, and his escape would have been
complete...if it were not for the wall. He hit his head again,
and fell to the ground.

The two impacts upon his head made losing consciousness much
more easier. As his senses drifted, he thought he heard the
word, "Cuuut!", yelled by someone but wasn't sure...and all
became dark.

* * *

"Mmmrrr...kkkaaa...mmster Katawa...are you all right...?"

Topper slowly regained consciousness, bucking from the
smelling salts placed under his nose. He kept blinking his eyes,
noticing slowly that over him stood two figures. As his eyes
finally started to focus, but there was something different.
Things looked fuzzy at first, but then...they seemed to stay that
way. It was very hard to describe, but things...just didn't seem
to take a definite shape as they should. It was almost as
if...it was slightly two-dimensional.

Topper continued to blink his eyes, trying to make them see
clearer. It was like...colour failed to have any more texture
than one or two tones...like...like...

"Mister Katawa, are you okay...?" the voice said again, and
he looked towards the voice. She had no idea who she was, but
she was holding out a cloth to him. "Here, take this." she said.

Topper slowly took it, and nodded. "Thanks." he said without
thinking, and placed it on his head. It took a moment for it to
register, but as it did, his eyes slowly went wide again. He
looked from the girl to the other person, an older woman, and
asked her, "I'm dreaming!?"

The woman sighed, and looked back behind her to some person.
She called out, "I think he's lost it for today. We might as
well close down until tomorrow."

As Topper looked more and more frantic, the older woman
turned back to him and said softly, "Mister Katawa...you just
have a nasty bump on your head. Just rest up and tomorrow we'll
try the scene again, okay?"

Topper shook his head, and looked at the older woman. Two
things struck him, right off. She was speaking in Japanese, and
the second was, he understood it. He ventured slowly,
"Um...okay?" Perfect Japanese too, as far as he knew.

The older woman slowly stood up, and walked back into what
seemed like a small crowd. As he took in the surroundings before
him, he observed that, he was in some sort of studio. He was on
a futon that was provided for what appeared to be a bedroom
setting and as he looked out, the set ended and a multitude of
cameras and wiring began. He was beginning to marvel at the
sight when another young woman came into view.

He remembered her as the woman who frightened him before.
Now that she wasn't coming out of a mirror Topper noticed she
stood about five and a half feet tall or so. Her dishwater
blonde hair cascaded down her back to her legs, her frame
gossamer but flattering at the same time. She brushed back a
stray bang from the side of her face to behind her ear as she
kneeled down, and he noticed her wonderfully deep blue-green eyes
once more. She wasn't in the unique costume that she was before;
rather she was in a regular set of clothes. A plain white tee-shirt and a pair of bluejean shorts, along with a long-sleeved
red-checker shirt tied about her waist. She smiled comfortingly,
as she looked at Topper.

"Hey, are you okay? That bump looks awful." she said.

Topper simply blinked at her. "B-belldandy...?" he said
slowly, still seeming in a definite haze about things.

The young woman sighed softly, and shook her head. "No, not
Belldandy. Don't you remember...my name's Mika. Izoku Mika.
I'm the person who _plays_ Belldandy."

Topper blinked again. /She...played...Belldandy?/ "B-bu-but...this...this is..."

Mika shook her head again. "Maybe you should go home and
get some rest. You know where you live, right?"

Topper nodded his head slowly, "1245 North Finders Road,
Salem, Oregon..."

Mika's eyes slowly went wide, as she heard Topper give her
his address. "Um...maybe...maybe I should take you home...I'll
get the address from the director's assistant." She stood up,
and walked off the set, leaving Topper to wonder once more.

/I can't be where...no...that's impossible. And
Mika...Mika...there has to be something to explain all of this.
I must have hit my head on my desk, when the power went out./
All these things rushed through Topper's head, as he tried to
stand up. Wobbling all the way, he made it up and started to
slowly walk off the set, holding the damp towel on his head
still.

Mika found her way towards him, and said, "Okay...I got the
address. My car's out in the parking lot. Can you make it, or
do you want me to help?"

Topper smiled back weakly, "I think I can make it...lead the
way Bell...I mean, Miss Mika." She just looked at him and
chuckled briefly as she walked out with him in tow to the parking
lot.

* * *

Mika led Topper through the studio streets before finally
ending up within the parking lot. She walked over to a white
compact convertible and opened the left hand door for Topper to
get into. She walked around and got into the driver's seat,
pausing for a few moments to take down the top. After that, they
left the studios.

Topper took an avid interest in looking about as they sped
down the road through the city. It was a sunny day, and
everything seemed very bright and cheerful. He made a point at
one stoplight to look at a group of people walking across the
street. He just shook his head cautiously, and smiled slightly
to himself.

Mika was glancing at Topper as he gazed on. "What, you
never seen a group of people before?" she said, a small smirk on
her lips.

Topper chuckled and replied, "Well, not drawn the way they
are, no."

Mika's glance turned quizzical. "/Drawn/? Um...yeah, you
really got banged up back there. Um..." She looked down into her
lap for a second. "I'm really sorry Mister Katawa, for what it's
worth. You seemed to be genuinely scared about when I popped
through the mirror back there. I thought you were ready,
but...sorry."

Topper looked over to Mika. /Mister Katawa...? Play it
cool, Topper.../ "Hey...it was in the...um...in the...script,
right? It's not your fault; I was just caught unawares, and got
caught up in the moment. Really, don't feel bad about it." He
offered a small smile, to which she weakly smiled in return.

He turned back to look at the scenery, as the car started to
move again. All the while, his mind raced. /What script!?
This...this is...I must be in a coma. I'd better be in a coma.
At least...Mika's feeling bet...what am I saying!?/

The rest of the ride was silent, and about twenty minutes
later Mika pulled the car towards the curb and parked it in front
of a high-rise maison complex. She looked at Topper and smiled
briefly, "Mister Katawa...your palace awaits."

Topper looked to Mika, and the complex she alluded to. It
was a simple building, nothing very fancy at all. He turned back
to her and nodded. "Um...Mika, would you mind coming up with me?
I'm...well...I still can't piece things together very well yet."

Mika bit her lip as she looked at him cautiously.
"Um...sure. But I can't stay long...and no funny stuff, okay?"
He nodded, and they got out of her car.

They walked up the concrete path leading to the complex, and
they stopped by the mailboxes in the lobby. Topper pulled out
his keys and looked through the listings casually, trying to find
this Katawa fellow on the labels. He finally found it next to
maison 1302. Katawa Yoshio. He fumbled with the keys, and
finding the one fitting the mailbox, he opened it and pulled out
the days mail. He closed the mailbox, and walked towards the
elevator, with Mika in tow.

They entered the elevator as it opened for them, and he
pushed the thirteenth floor. As they waited, Topper thought
more. /So...my name here is Katawa Yoshio...and that's why
Mika's been calling me Mister Katawa. Makes sense...but what
about me, Patrick Thompson? Or would that be Thompson Patrick
here...?/

The doors opened, and the two walked out. Topper looked
down the pair of corridors running left and right from the
elevator. From the right side, he glanced at the numbers going
even, so he walked towards the right, and found Katawa's
apartment soon enough. He fumbled with his keys again, and soon
one of them opened the front door and he walked in, allowing Mika
in as well. He closed the door and took a good look at the
maison.

It wasn't all that big, but it could fit one person very
easily. Topper noted Katawa didn't like to clean up all that
much, as the apartment looked a little bit like a pigsty. He
sighed to himself at that. He noticed to the left a pair of
rooms that he guessed was the bathroom and bedroom doorways, and
to the right, was a generous dining room, with a doorway to the
kitchen. The living room had a balcony attached at the far wall,
and he noticed that it must provide a generous view of the city,
even from the door. He slipped the keys in his pocket, tossed
the mail on a table by thd door and said, "Um...make yourself at
home."

Mika nodded, and after they both took off their shoes and
placed them on a rack by the door she sat down in a chair, one
that wasn't cluttered up by a small stack of newspapers. He
walked into the dining room and then into the kitchen, looking
around for the refrigerator. He called out, "Did you want
anything to drink?" as he opened the refrigerator, and looked to
see what Katawa had stocked.

Mika called back, "Maybe a glass of water, please."

He looked for some ice and found it, pulling the small
bucket from the freezer and closing the doors. He started to
rummage through the kitchen cabinets, and finding the one that
contained glasses he pulled out two. Taking some ice, he put
some into both glasses and with the towel he still had, he filled
that up as well with ice. He filled the glasses with tap water,
and returned out into the living room, his hands full.

Topper offered the glass to Mika and sat down in an adjacent
free chair, putting the makeshift ice on his bump and his own
glass in his free hand.

"So...how did you get the part?" Topper asked, trying to
make idle conversation.

Mika thought a little bit. "Well, it wasn't my idea,
actually." She smirked, and took a sip of her water. "See, my
friends sort of pushed me into the auditions, and one thing led
to another. I figured over the summer, I was going to
work...well, I don't really know. But...this is definitely
better than the alternative..."

She looked at Topper for a moment, sipping her water once
more. "How 'bout you? Oh wait...your agent probably got this
part for you. How many of these have you done now?"

Topper smiled weakly, and leaned back in his chair a little.
"Well, um..." He looked down. "I don't really remember."

Mika mmmed softly, and looked down to her lap. "That bump
really must have taken you for a real loop. Maybe I should
go...you could use the rest." She set her glass down on the
coffee table, and stood up.

Topper did the same, and nodded. "I guess...I'll see you on
the set tomorrow?"

Mika nodded. "Yeah...about 7 or so. She stood and walked
over towards the door, with Topper in tow.

"Um...I don't suppose..." Topper asked, as Mika slipped on
her shoes. "Um...can you give me a ride there?"

Mika blinked as she stood up straight. "Oh...um...sure.
Your car's still on the lot, isn't it. Okay...I'll meet you
outside at 6:30 then. Thanks for the water, Mister Katewa."

Topper smiled weakly. "Please, call me To...er, Yoshi."

Mika smiled a little in return. "Yoshi. See you." With
that she left, and he slowly closed the door. Leaning on the
door for a moment, he let loose a long sigh. /Thank the gods for
luck.../ He walked over and picked up the glasses of water from
the coffeetable, and returned to the kitchen. He put them in the
sink, and started to rummage for some sort of liquor. Damned if
he didn't need a drink at this moment.

Finding a bottle of whiskey of all things, Topper pulled out
another glass and poured himself a small amount. He quickly
downed that, making a face as it burned down his throat. He
poured more into the glass and set the bottle back into the
cabinet where he found it. Walking back into the living room, he
reclaimed his chair and sighed again.

Turning his head to a clock on the wall, Topper noticed that
it was about 1:40 in the afternoon. /Great/, he thought, as he
took a sip from his glass and shifted the towel on his head a
little. /I've got about half a day to learn Keiichi's
lines...what in the world have I gotten myself into???/

* * *

Topper decided to get his rest in early, figuring he would
most likely be up all night trying to rehearse his lines for
tomorrow. He finished his drink and strolled into the bedroom.
Not bothering to note anything but the bed, he rolled himself
into the blankets, falling asleep shortly thereafter. When he
awoke, he saw from a clock on the nightstand it was close to ten
at night.

Topper slowly sat up, and concentrated. He had two
priorities on his mind; the first was to find out just who Yoshio
was. The second was to find out just exactly where he was. With
that straight, he reached over to turn on the lamp on the
nightstand.

Illumination did little to brighten up the room, however.
It's motif was a slightly somber one, darkish blues and blacks
prevaded the area. /Oh jee, how original. The classic
bachelor's colours./ Topper slipped out of bed, and slowly spun
himself around to take a better look of his surroundings.

It was a sizable bedroom, a walk-in closet almost as soon as
one came in on the left, and a door to a private bathroom right
afterwards. The bed was at the center of the far wall, two
nightstands on edges beside, and on the right was a window, which
gave lighting to a cleartop desk beneath. On the entrance wall
was a rather expensive entertainment center.

Topper went to the desk first, and looked at what was upon
it. There were some odds and ends, some notes about producers
and agents, and contract negotiations. He also found a bound
copy of the five scripts to the OAVs to which he took
immediately. /Yoshio, this might have saved both our behinds/,
he mused to himself as he picked up scripts. He looked on and
pulled open the file cabinets beneath the desk. He paged through
them, but there wasn't that much more of interest. He closed the
cabinets and moved on to another part of the bedroom.

He glanced over to the entertainment center and walked up to
it. /Very nice...and very expensive./ He noticed a pile of
tapes, and started to paw through them. The tapes were of other
Anime series; a few episodes Sailor Moon, some Maison Ikkouku,
and Marmalade Boy to name a few. To any anime lover, the
collection here was a dream come true. But what would you expect
to find, in...

This gave Topper a random thought. /If all the shows here
are Anime, that would mean that...Yoshi could be in dozens of
things like Mika said, like actors and actresses in Hollywood.
Wow, that's a far out concept...Keiichi in something other than
Ah! My Goddess.../ He gave a little chuckle to that little
realization. /I'm definately going to have to check out that
theory./

Topper turned and glanced towards the closet. He walked
over, and opened the doors. There was a switch just inside the
doors, and he flipped it on. Inside were suits and clothes that
almost threatened to break the bars they were hung upon, a
multitude of variety and colours to choose from. /Erm...clothes
hog/, he thought as he pawed through some of them. He looked
down and noticed rows of shoes to go with the clothes. He just
shook his head a bit and turned off the light, exiting the
closet.

He walked over to the nightstand of the bed, and looked in
the drawer. Nothing. He climbed on the bed and opened the
drawer to the other nightstand, seeing only one thing. It was a
picture of Keiichi and an older couple. /Nonono Topper...
Yoshio, not Keiichi. Must be his parents.../

He sat on the bed and thought for a moment. One thought
suddenly occurred to him and he set down the scripts and stood,
heading for the bathroom. As he flipped on the switch, he walked
over to the wash basin and looked up to the mirror set up above
it.

True enough, as Topper looked up to the mirror, the person
looking back at him was not himself but Kei...Yoshio. He
flinched slightly, but kept his ground and gave the mirror a good
look. He was still wearing what he had on from the set, a white
tee-shirt and a faded pair of bluejeans. He gazed at the image
in the mirror, the brown eyes in the mirror staring back at him.
He reached up with his hand, as did the image in the mirror, and
he slowly brushed his hand across the top of his hair, the image
brushing his hand over the short black hair in return. Looking
in the mirror closely in a pseudo-trance, he shivered and looked
away. /Gods...that's scary/, he thought and exited the bathroom,
turning off the light as he went.

He walked over to the bed and picked up the scripts before
entering the living room once more. He fumbled about for at
least ten minutes, looking for the light switch, before finding
it and lighting up the darkened room. He cleared some room on
the couch before plopping himself down and sighed softly.

He grasped at the remote control on the coffeetable, and
turned on the living room television. /Time to prove that
theory. But I do hope they have CNN here at least, or whatever
the alternative is.../

He flipped through the channels, coming to the conclusion
that his theory was most likely correct. He continued on until
something caught his eye. It was a an entertainment news
program. /Better than nothing, I guess./ he thought as he looked
on. He was still amazed that he could understand and speak
Japanese. He wanted to take a class this coming year, but when
in Rome...

There was a well-dressed woman on the screen, finishing up a
segment. "...and production on that should begin later in the
fall. When we return..."

Topper sat through most of the program, looking with half-interest about this show and that. It didn't really appeal to
him other than it seemed to spout this and that about this actor
or that actress. He was about to change it when something caught
his interest. "...the long awaited Ah! My Goddess series started
filming today at Koishatai Studios..." He blinked, and turned up
the volume.

"...but was cut short when Katawa Yoshio was slightly
injured during the opening scene. Sources say he's okay though,
and filming will resume tomorrow." A chagrin appeared on his
lips. /I made the news...sort of./

"As most may know, Katawa, whose fame is well known to most
in Japan, has been involved with more than several famous
projects in the past. They include such award winning films such
as He Rode Alone', The Last Goodbye', and In Your Heart
Forever'..." As the woman continued on with Yoshi, Topper's mind
wandered. /I guess Yoshio's pretty big here. Though I've never
heard of anything on that list but Ah! My Goddess. Definately an
interesting fact to know.../

Topper changed the channel as the show drifted back into
other news, and he finally found a news channel, though it was
ending now. He sighed a bit more and shook his head. /I guess
I'll find out later about where I am.../ he thought, and turned
off the television.

He looked down into his lap at the script. Opening it to
the first page, he thought to himself. /Well Topper...it's time
to start reading...before this dream turns into a nightmare./
With that, Topper delved into the first script; Ah! My Goddess,
'Moonlight and Cherry Blossoms'.

------------------------------------------------------------------
-You mean that we're not living in an Anime world?
-Nope, sorry.
