This is pretty much the 'Simon & Garfunkle' song 'Richard Cory' with
only a few parts changed.
They say that Tachi Kuno owns one half of this whole town,
With political connections to spread his wealth around,
Born into society, a principal's second child,
He had everything a man could want: bokken, Shakespeare and style.
But I work in his mansion
And I curse the life I'm living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be
Tachi Kuno
The papers print his picture almost everywhere he goes:
Tachi Kuno chasing Onna-Ranma, Tachi Kuno at the show.
And rumor of his parties and how he tried to get two girls into the sack!
Oh, he surely must be happy with all of that back.
But I work in his mansion
And I curse the life I'm living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be
Tachi Kuno.
He never gave to charity, he didn't have the common touch,
And they still kissed his ass and thanked him very much,
So my mind was filled with wonder when the evening headlines read:
"Tachi Kuno went home last night and put a bokken through his head."
But I work in his mansion
And I curse the life I'm living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be,
Tachi Kuno
Until I find better things to write about. Ja ne.
