*nod* Yep, that's one of the main plot points of Rurouken... ^_^;; 

	Many of the characters in the series are real historical figures.
Saitoh Hajime, for instance, actually existed. The series is filled with
historical figures playing minor roles (with the exception of Saitoh).
That's part of why it does well in Japan, or so I've heard....

Saitou -- now, that was a cool chara. Also, lately in Jump (sigh... well,
December-ish?) there was another chara who was head of the Ishin Shishi
when Kenshin joins up -- uh. Kogoro Katsura, I think. Anyway, historical
references are always interesting, especially if they're not quite what you
expect. ^_^
