Hi kids, sorry it took so long, life, hobbies, and other things (read:
girlfriend) made things a little hectic for me.

When I was watching Tinsel City, a lot of things bothered me about the
episode, mostly centering around continuity errors and other "odd" things.
Not only that, as I said before, GT1.X is supposed to address a couple
problems *I* personally have with BGC self-inserts.  Not all of them, but
some.

Let's start with the first one: I've assumed that the KS tend to do a lot of
jobs, most of them on Sylia's adgenda.  I've also assumed that Joe Corp
doesn't have the same level of security as Genom.  Thus, Chris (I'll refer
to my alter-ego in the third person) gets some on-the-job training without
taking the risk of another combat boomer.  I figure the other KS's had this
kind of training as well.

Next, since a lot of people equated the combat in GT1.1 with the first
attack in Tinsel City, I thought I'd sort of connect them in a reasonable
way.  A prototype-production model idea came to me, and I used it.

Oh, Chris's little Sailor Moon remark?  Couldn't resist, sorry.  That came
from my personal heckling of the tape.  Same for the lingerie store.  Makes
a great cover for the women, but for the 2.1m-tall Chris, it's a little
silly...

The way I did the Schwarz meeting was intentional.  I figured Sylia had
arranged for SOME sort of backup, so someone listening in on the private
channel seemed like a reasonable thing to do.  Oh, BTW, I am an Electrical
Engineer - give me a spectrum of a signal and static, I can find the
interference.  Simple for me now...I'd expect Nene's gear could do it too if
she had been looking.

Next, the Sylia/Chris "talk" about him and relationships - sorry Chris
Davies, I know you have this fixation on Sylia/Priss/every anime female
there is being lesbian, but I thought that Sylia may have considered that.
Besides, since fan service wasn't an issue, I needed a reason (in my mind,
anyway) why all the KS's were female.

Chris/Nene versus the female boomer: Where exactly did that thing go in the
original tape, anyway?

Sylia's heroic but silly sounding goal: I don't know about you, but "To
defend peace and justice, and to rid the world of evil" sounds so UN-Sylia
and anime-ish I had to come up with SOME explanation.

Chris being sent after Priss: What were they THINKING?  "Lets help our armed
leader who's probably the best fighter we have, and leave Priss, who's hurt,
unarmed, and carrying a little kid, to fight of the boomer herself."  EXCUSE
ME?

Chris/Cynthia scene: I don't know where that came from...but I kind of like
it, even if it is a little angsty.

Oh, and Chris' job?  Well...you'll find out.  Later.  I'll give you a hint
though: Priss has a very EVIL sense of humor.
