I'm sorry, but this ending is, if possible, even lamer than the
original version.
Not only does Shampoo's Formula 110 cause amnesia, but it now
also does hypnosis? And if it was that effective, why didn't she try it
on Hitomi earlier rather than mess with the "subtle" break-up method?
And damn, but it's easy to become a Canadian citizen.
And now, not only can Hitomi recover from four shots at
point-blank range in the heart, but she has *never before hinted at* mind
control powers as well?! I mean, sure it's convenient, but where the
hell did that come from?
Quite frankly, it smacks of an attempt to just make the problems
you raised go away for the convenience of the next chapter. You've
always had a problem with satisfying endings, but this one is just bad.
I'd recommend a rewrite of the chapter, yes again, and extending the
story out to five chapters, with a more "realistic" resolution.
