Nanami: I thought the Dark Kingdom amused itself by playing Twister.
Eudial: No, Twister is modern. Just us Deathbusters.
Dinner was luckily cooked by Chiyako (Yuu's mother), and not Rumi.
Not that it turned out so well for Miki, anyway. "So how school been
going for you?" Jin (Miki's father) asked.
Nanami: Heh. Actually, I'm grateful for the name designations. I tend to
forget who is who myself....
Bailesu: Me too.
"Well, the Tennis Club has a tournament coming up with Sakagi
Andrew: Wait, is it Sagaki, or Sakagi? I'm talking about the placement of
the "k" and "g" in the name
Nanami: Don't remember myself.
Bailesu: I'll go check.
Everyone was laughing by this point, and Luna rattled on about her
plans for global conquest. Miki had to fight not to laugh as well, which
Andrew: Well, if you think about it...Queen Serenity _is_ going to be
taking over the world, isn't she?
Miki: Depends on how you look at it.
Gaspode: Well, when it's that easy....
Nanami: Hey, Miki would you like for me to kick him for you?
Miki: HAI!!!!!
Zodiac wheel on one side with a button that looked like a heart in the
middle, with smaller buttons by each of the zodiac signs, and a small
rollerball on the right side of the keyboard. The sign of Mercury was
embossed in gold on the lid. "See what you can make of it."
Nanami: Uh-oh.
Gaspode: Wot?
Pluto: Not a WOT story.
The world spun and when it ceased, Pluto could tell it was 20 years
later. The house was still there, but now an older woman with long
green-black hair was trying to chase a small boy around the yard, which
wasn't easy since she was clearly seven or so months pregnant. Off in the
field, a tall ugly man was busily scything wheat and singing a little
Nanami: Who's he?
Andrew: Pluto's...ah...knight in shining armor. So to speak. Whoever that
is. Er.
Tennis Warrior Pluto: Pluto came from a farming family, so this is the
Joe Schmoe she would have married if she never became Pluto.
Pluto: [thinking] I would NEVER have married Bubba.
Setsuna nodded. "Yeah. I'm really looking forward to this
tournament." She leaned forward. "Do you know if anyone is dating
Ginta?"
Nanami: What?
Andrew: No! She'd better not come between Ginta and Arimi-chan!
Arimi: What does the eyecatch show for my future in this, Bailesu?
Bailesu: What eyecatch? That would be a spoiler.
Arimi: [holds up a flaming tennis ball] What about that EYECATCH,
Bailesu?
Bailesu: I'll go make some right now.
looked at her. At least I know it works, Miki thought. Maybe I should
look at the boys, Miki thought. I didn't think to ask Luna if all the
Tennis Warriors were female.
Nanami: Hm. A good point.
Andrew: And _Miki_ came up with it!?
[Andrew is chased out of the room by flying tennis balls.]
Miki: Yeah, take that!
"And we need to earthquake proof Miki's head," Yuu said.
Nanami: Like Scott said, why no reaction from Miki?
Bailesu: You can guess what happened next :)
Mr. Soup was incredibly nervous. Everything had to go just right.
Nanami: Ah, yes. Must appear in a Bailesu fic sometime.
Bailesu: After becoming unemployed when UY ended, I took the poor lad in.
a minute crack in the pavement, allowing Rokutanda a second point. Or
maybe it was just that Rokutanda desperately didn't want to shave his
head. He was ahead 45 to nothing, and all he needed was one point to win.
Andrew: Ah, yes. That point system thingy...well, Scott cleared that up
partially. Anyway, the other thing, about serving and scoring points...
remember, only in volleyball and like games does only the server score,
and the receiver get a side out instead of points. In tennis, one person
serves for a whole game, and the receiver can definitely score points.
Bailesu: It's not how I was taught, but that was 15 years ago, so maybe I
blanked it all out.

"So, Major Disaster," Beryl said. "You have failed me. You know
the price of failure, don't you?"
He gulped as he stood before his Queen. "Death? Eternal Sleep?
Being forced to live in DC?"
Andrew: As long as you stay out of Southeast, I think you should be okay.
At least, I think it's SE....
Bailesu: It's a choice of death by gun or death by pretentiousness.
Thanks for the review!
