Possible. But, Yosho is already a skilled swordsman. This is not to say
that he might not have decided to train in some Earth sword skills.
I was actually thinking of a Kenshin / Highlander crossover. The 2 series
would fit together so well. My idea actually had Duncan MacCloud show up
though. Basically, he'd be in Japan during the Meiji era and and meet up
with an immortal Kenshin. The story is that Kenshin actually died when he
was 18, and that was why he looks so young at age 28.
It would have to be something along the lines of Kenshin having been
wounded and then "died" while in hiding to recover. No claims were ever
made that someone or another had killed the Hitokiri Battousai.
Duncan would be the
first immortal he runs across and would have the 'game' and the 'gathering'
explained to him...
This might work... After all, Duncan survivied three years before finding
out what he was and what he was involved in. You would have to tell us
why Duncan had returned to Japan, though. The last time he was there, the
law was that all gaijins were to be killed on sight.
Then the story would just cut to the future where
Kenshin and Ducan meet up again. Kenshin true to his vow, had yet to kill
anyone; even another immortal. Basically, a situation would come where he'd
have to choose between the vow and death... or perhaps, even do that in the
past, having him save Kawaro's life by killing another immortal or
something... ah well. I'd like to do it, but honestly don't have the time.
I have enough unfinished fics out there as it is. ^_^;;

That is pretty close to what happens in episode 10 and 11 (or somewhere
there abouts). Kenshin was willing to give up his new life and become a
hitokiri again if it meant saving Kaoru's life.
Well...
Any Kenshin fanfic would a good thing. There is virtually none out
there...
