Wai!  A Rurouni Kenshin fanfic (sorta).
I have found only two Kenshin fanfics.  it's too bad there aren't more of
these.  Rurouni Kenshin is an incredibly cool show.

     Well, here it is.  The dreaded Author's Notes.  I know that crying
like that is majorly OOC for Ranma, but it's justified.  One of the
major supporting pillars of Ranma's life is his honor.  Among his tenets
is that he does not kill.  It's not honorable. To him, killing is the
ultimate refuge of an incompetent, and Ranma is not an incompetent.
Further more, he is still frightened over his actions at Mt. Phoenix-the
thought that he has the capability to end sentient life scares Ranma
greatly.  To believe that he would do it as a matter of course...
::shudder::

I am not certain I agree with some of this.  I think that Ranma can and
will kill given good reason.

Honor and an idealistic view is all fine and good, but sometimes there
isn't a choice...  Ranma wasn't given a choice (as if he was ever given
many choices about his life).  It was either kill or Akane dies, and
likely himself as well (although Ranma probably wouldn't care anymore if 
Akane did die).

     Well, I hope to get more of this done when I can.  There are a few
ideas in my head about what to do from this point, most of them are just
nebulous.  I have to point out, however, that Sanosuke's zanbatou looks
a whole lot like Ukyou's big ass spatula... and he seems to have the
impenetrable Ryougan skull, as well as Ryouga-ish strength.  Kaoru, of
course, really reminds me of Akane... she even has 2 sisters, very much
younger ones, but still...  And for some reason, Yahiko's jacket keeps
reminding me of Ryouga's bandana...

Interesting ideas...  Just one nitpick.  Kaoru didn't have any sisters.
The two little girls are the grandchildren of the old doctor.
