I can suggest one factor.  Your fic barely qualifies as a Ranma fic.  It
is not set in Japan or China and Shampoo is the only regular Ranma
character and she appears only as a supporting character.  It is harder to
comment on what is basically an original story since readers lack the
background of character development that comes from reading manga or
watching anime.  

Actually, and I'm sure I won't be the only one to tell you, "Hell Hath No
Fury..." is a continuation of a very solid Ranma story.  The character of 
Hitomi is an apparently-divine spirit incarnated into Ranma's body after
he died...
