shin tenchi muyo?

        The second Tenchi movie appears to be in it's own little continuum,
attempting to combine both the OAV and TV series into something that
either watcher could view and be happy.

        In my opinion, they did a terrible, terrible job.  I won't be using
the Tenchi 2 universe in anything I write.  It's just that horrible to
me.

Huh... funny. I liked it more than Tenchi Muyo! In Love. Go figure...
Also, take into account Tenchi Muyo! itself... It's got the OAV with
it's own continuity, TM!TV with it's own... Pretty Samy (Dunno if it
counts, but I'm sure IT has it's own, as well) and now, Shin Tenchi
Muyo! Which I'm assuming also has it's own continuity... I'm guessing
though cause I know next to nothing about it.

Anyhow, taking all this into account, is it such a preposterous idea
that the creators take aspects of some of the other continuities and try
to meld them together into a movie? I don't think so. I also think they
did a good job of it.

Just some thoughts from the other side :)
