"I'm, ah, Horiuchi Toshi."
"Yamakazi Linna."
Amazingly enough, this is the ONE series of Anime that takes place in Japan
where this is incorrect. For some reason, in the BGC universe, they've
adopted
the western use of names. I've yet to see one instance where the family
name
was placed first: It's always "SYLIA Stingray," (Largo really went out
his way
to drive home THAT point) or "NENE Romanove" or "PRISCILLA S. Asagiri."
I dare
anybody to show me one documented instance in Crisis, Crash! or the
ADPFiles
where the proper japanese was used.
Of course, if Jeanne Hedge or any of the other hardcore BGC fans out there
come up with some, I'll look like (even more of) a fool.
You rang???
It's personal name first, family name last in BGC, for all characters.
They're even in the end credits are that way.
Of course, it can be argued that only people with purely Japanese names
would have their names given Japanese-style, and who in BGC has a purely
Japanese name? Pretty much no one.
Sylia Stingray -- nope
Priscilla Asagiri -- uh-uh
Leon McNichol, Nene Romanova? Not even close
The closest you can get is Linna, and you have to go clear to episode 8, in
the credits, to find out what her last name is (she's listed as Linna
Yamazaki, btw).
