Ah, what the hell. Might as well give y'all a taste of this...
Notes:
-This is more of a fusion than a crossover, as elements are borrowed
from one series and implanted into another.
-SAABISU WARNING! This fic contains extreme levels of saabisu...well,
as extreme as it can get in text. ^_^ Plenty of gratuity ahead.
You've been warned.
-The speeches may seem a bit awkward; it's not easy trying to mix CH
speeches with SM speeches. Bear with me.

Chapter 1: Ami-chan no hakken! "Kawaru wa yo!"
====<3====
Two cats stretched lazily on the roof of a house in the Juuban
district of Tokyo.
"Things sure have been peaceful lately," commented the white one.
The black cat yawned, and nodded. "Yes...no terrible threats have
come along since Galaxia. I'm glad the Senshi have been able to live
peacefully since then."
Nearly two years ago, the Sailor Senshi had fought their last major
opponent, and no serious evil had been detected since then. It was as
though some cosmic force finally decided the Senshi could relax and
enjoy their youth. The inner Senshi were all at or near age eighteen
now, and like typical teenagers, they were alternating between
concern for their future, and the reckless abandon and lust for fun
and life common to most adolescents.
"Right. It's nice that they keep their skills sharp, though,"
Artemis said as he shifted to absorb more of the sun's warmth.
Luna opened one eye sleepily, peering out into the city. "Yes. I'd
never have believed, so long ago when their abilities first awakened,
that they'd be *volunteering* to fight things that the Tokyo police
could handle just as easily."
Artemis chuckled. "Maybe they just like running around in their
short skirts." Luna promptly bapped him upside the head with a paw.
"Maybe not," the white cat grimaced.
Luna sighed. "Artemis...I've been thinking. Do you remember the old
legend from the Silver Millenium about the 'lovely warriors'?"
Artemis blinked. "What about it? We've already found--"
"No, no," Luna said, shaking her head. "Not the Sailor Senshi. The
'lovely warriors'. You know..."
The white cat frowned. "Now that you mention it, it does sound
familiar, but I can't think of what it was..."
Luna nodded. "Same here. I remember it had something to do with the
Sailor Senshi, and what happens when they reach a certain level of
maturity in age, personality, and power. I just can't remember what
the rest of it was..."
Artemis raised his head. "Wait, I think I know what you mean. You're
talking about the time when their powers change?"
Luna blinked. "They change? When?"
Artemis facefaulted.

Mizuno Ami frowned at the display on her computer.
For the last couple of years, she and the others had periodically
taken to fighting normal crime in their Senshi forms, in much the
same way Sailor V was credited with doing a few years earlier. They
would use weaker versions of their attacks to deter criminals until
the police could take over.
On occasion, Ami would use her computer to scan the city for any
trace of unusual activity, just to be safe. She was performing such a
scan now, when something unusual turned up.
Only the source of the unusual reading seemed to be her own body,
and four other bodies across Juuban.
"This is odd," she mused. "There seems to be a fluctuating energy
buildup around us...I wonder what's causing it?" Tapping a few keys,
she instructed the computer to determine the cause of the power
reading.
After a moment, the screen flashed. A single word blinked on the
screen: "KAWARU". A pink heart appeared next to the mystifying
answer.
Ami scowled at her computer. "Well, that was no help. Maybe Luna
knows something..."
Folding her computer into pocketspace, Ami quickly left the house,
headed for the Tsukino residence.

"We don't want any trouble, pops! Give us all the money in the
register, and we might let you off with a flesh wound!"
The clerk behind the counter of the corner grocery trembled in
fright as two thugs in circus masks trained guns on him. Around the
store, customers were face-flat on the ground, with their hands on
their heads, while a third gunman emptied their pockets and purses.
"And don't bother hittin' that silent alarm under the counter,
grandpa," one thug said. "The police won't get here in time to save
your life, or catch us."
The middle-aged clerk gulped, and opened the register...
From across the street, Ami noticed what was going on in the small
store. She scowled, and ducked into a handy alleyway, already holding
her transformation wand.
"Mercury Crystal Power, Make-Up!"
The wand shattered.
Ami blinked at the remains of her transformation wand. "What the--?"
She pulled out her computer, and began scanning the broken device.
[KAWARU <3]
A very upset blue-haired girl slammed the miniature supercomputer
back into pocketspace, a fierce scowl marring her beautiful face.
"I'm getting really tired of that," she said.
The remains of her wand began glowing, and floated into the air,
spinning in front of her. "What--?"
The blue and gold fragments of plastic, metal, and crystal coalesced
into a ribbon of blue light, with sparks of gold fluttering around
the center. Ami reached out as if to touch it.
The ribbon of light solidified into an actual blue ribbon, and the
golden sparkles coalesced, forming a gleaming golden heart in the
center of the ribbon. Before Ami could react, the mysterious new item
flew towards her, and fastened itself tightly around her neck, the
heart positioned to her left.
Even as Ami blinked, startled by what had just transpired, a new
phrase popped into her mind. Standing, with determination etched on
her face, she shouted...
"MERCURY FLASH!"
Her clothing exploded from her body, as she spun nude in mid-air.
She was dimly aware that unlike previous transformations, in which a
bright glow obscured her features, nothing was concealing her nude
form from view now. She blushed, covering herself with her arms,
thankful that nobody else was around to see.
Tight cloth wrapped itself around her body, tendrils of fabric
slowly expanding, almost caressing her as it covered her. As her new
costume materialized, she got the sense that there would probably be
a lot less to this outfit than there normally was.
The transformation completed quickly, and Mercury stepped out of the
alleyway, quickly drawing a great deal of attention to herself. She
studied her reflection briefly in a nearby window.
An embarassingly tight, turquoise leotard covered her body...well,
for the most part, that is. Unlike her previous fuku, the neckline of
this leotard plunged all the way to the waistband of her sky-blue
miniskirt, giving an impressive amount of cleavage as well as
exposing her navel. The leotard was also tight enough to emphasize
certain...attributes. A sky-blue sailor collar hung from the
shoulders of the leotard. She noticed that she wore no bow. She also
wore no gloves, and blue nail polish glistened from her
well-manicured fingernails. Rather than boots, she now wore a pair of
turquoise high-heels. The blue choker with the gold heart assumed the
same position about her throat. A blue tiara graced her forehead,
with the sigil of Mercury emblazoned in gold at the center, and a
pair of ice-blue crystal earrings dangled from her ears.
<Not bad,> she mused, <aside from the cleavage...>
She jumped, startled, as a thin rapier made of solid ice
materialized in her hand. "Well, I've spent long enough admiring
myself," she muttered. "Time to do what I came here for."
Dashing across the street, she skidded to a stop in the entrance of
the store, where the three thugs were still gathering their loot, and
terrorizing the customers and clerk. "Hold it right there!" she
shouted.
The thugs looked up, and stared at her. "Who the hell are you?" the
leader asked.
"More importantly, are you doing anything tonight?" the second thug
asked.
"Kawaii," said the third.
Blushing slightly, Mercury launched into a speech, which came to her
readily, although it seemed incredibly awkward to her. "Sometimes I'm
a schoolgirl, sometimes I'm a Sailor...for robbing these innocent
people, however, this is the only form I'll show you!" Assuming a
pose intended to be threatening (which was, in reality, doing little
more than causing every male in viewing range to drool), she
continued, "Lovely warrior, Cutey Mercury! For terrorizing innocent
customers and clerks, Cutey Mercury will show you no mercy!"
"Let's get her, boys," the leader said. "We can take her with us and
have some fun later."
Mercury wasn't sure what to do. She didn't know if she could call on
any of her old powers now. New knowledge began to trickle into her
mind, and she grinned, crossing her arms in front of her. "Ice
Bunny!"
Mercury's body began to glow, and an ice-colored aura emerged. The
aura solidified, forming a near-perfect ice sculpture of Mercury a
few paces in front of her. The ice sculpture was dressed in a
cocktail bunny outfit.
The thugs blinked. "What the hell--?"
Mercury sent a silent command to her creation, which came to life.
The ice clone dashed forward, delivering a fierce kick to the
midsection of the lead thug. As he doubled over, the wind escaping
his lungs in a whoosh, the clone leaped over him, and executed a
perfect dive kick into the face of the second thug. The third thug
began firing at her, but the bullets had no apparent effect. Dropping
into splits, the clone slammed her fist into the last thug's groin.
As the third thug went down, moaning in pain, the clone stood.
Facing Mercury, the ice clone gave a wink and a victory sign, before
vanishing in a plume of steam.
The first thug stood, having recovered his wind. The second thug
stood shakily, apparently stunned by the kick.
Mercury charged, slashing with her ice sword at the lead thug's gun
arm. The thug bellowed in pain as the sword left a shallow yet
painful cut on his wrist. Crystals of frost covered the wound,
stinging the flesh, and causing him to drop his weapon. Mercury
kicked it away, into the store, where the recovered clerk was
watching the battle in awe.
The second thug recovered enough to fire at the blue-clad warrior,
but his aim was off, and the bullet skimmed just past Mercury's
shoulder. Scowling, she turned and threw her sword at him. The sword
struck the gun, freezing it instantly. The thug pulled the trigger,
and the gun shattered.
The clerk picked up the dropped gun of the first thug, and trained
it on the two standing thugs. "Don't move," he instructed. "The
police are on the way." Turning to Mercury, he said, "Thank you,
young lady."
"Think nothing of it, sir," Mercury said. With a cute wink, she
leaped away, disappearing over a nearby rooftop.
